I have the stihl km130 kombisystem unit with the tiller/cultivator attachment, the rubber paddle broom, the bristle broom, the string trimmer, edger, 145 degree articulating hedge trimmer, the pole saw and I have two 3 foot carbon fiber extensions. No matter what tool I use or how hard I push this thing it never bogs down or loses power. I like this kombi unit better than the dedicated units because the engine on this km130 is 36.3 cc 1.9 HP and you can use the same powerful engine to run all of the tools and save storage space and money by not having to maintain multiple engines. I used to have 5 or 6 dedicated units and they took up alot of storage space, now I can literally fit this whole kombi system in a golf club bag. This kombi system is well worth the money and it's worth paying the few extra dollars for the bigger engine, (110, 111, 130, 131).
Nice. I wonder how long those rubber sweeper part last and how much they cost to replace. I'd like to see a close view of how it sweeps the yard without sweeping up and destroying the grass.
Really good demo - I learnt a lot. Never knew you could make the power brush rotate clockwise/anti clockwise ! Many thanks.....all the way from London !
I have a lawn with a lot of lumps (worm activity I think). I rented a detacher but I'm still not happy with the results. I am considering the Still Yard Boss with paddle attachment. Will the paddle knock the tops off the soil in the lawn? If I step on the lumps, they squish down, so very soft. I am hoping that I can fill in the low spots (about 2 inches deeper than the high spots) with the paddle and use my lawn leverling rake to smooth out the soil. I don't have a huge lawn. It's about 3,000 sq ft. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks.
Can you turn the head of the sweeper or will it only work straight on? I'd like to be able to walk along the edge of the property and have it just kick the rocks ahead and to one side, rather than have to go in 2 foot swipes perpendicular to the road. Still a better option than a normal handheld. I used a Shindaiwa setup this weekend, and although it worked great and ran beautifully, it was a 2 hour long butt kicking having to lug it around.
Fantastic Video! Would you share the cost of the machine and all attachments you ordered, may be also advise of dealer to get the whole rig.., hope is not much to ask for; again THANKS FOR A SUPER VID!! Just liked it and I'm subscribed 👌🏻👌🏻
Do you know if you can switch to the powersweep on a Kombisystem cultivator attachment like you did with your stihl yard-boss? Im guessing it has to use the same gearbox like the yard boss. It would be a great savings if I didn't have to buy a separate attachment and could buy just the paddle kit.
The rubber flaps must wear out at a horrendous rate! The sweep is the most expensive attachment by far too! Surely there must be a better method than this tool that just scrapes. Thanks for the upload though.
+Jeff Bourke We are in our third year here on this machine and use it monthly all year long and have not worn out the rubber, they flex pretty easy and get scratched up by the rocks but so far no tears and holding up well
You can turn the gear box around so the sweeper is turning 180 degrees. It does throw dirt at your feet while sweeping but a lot less strain and more manageable.
After a few years of doing this... Add your Labor Time + Parts + Equipment + Coffee + ETC... Might as well get your Driveway done with Tar and call it the day.
Have you used the broom sweeper, I have recently purchased one, but I'm struggling to push against the back movement, it just isn't working for me, how do you cope?
you can actually turn the head around so that instead of pushing the broom you can pull it towards you to sweep, I find that easier even though if throws the material towards you some
I am having trouble with mine wanting to kick back at me when I have the sweep pushing the debris away from me. Did you have this problem? Is there a secret to get it to push and not have the whole thing come back at you?
So you walk backwards with it, while sweeping towards you? The larger deflection shield was that a separate purchase? I assumed it came with the power broom but it didn't.
Actually the broom for us did come with the extra shields maybe they dont do that anymore? But yes i wheel it forward, it sweeps towards me and then i pull it back and it works easier for me when doing gravel off the grass each spring
Thanks, yeah I am asking the stihl Dealership I bought this from why it doesn't come with the deflector shield. Waiting to hear back from them. They probably charge you for it now.
Hi! I have a Huskee 31cc cultivator that is very similar to your Yard Boss. I am trying to determine if I can make the Stihl Power Sweeper accessory fit on it. Would you mind measuring the shaft from the gear box on either side? Mine measures 3inches and looks about the same as yours. The pin holes look to be in different positions, but maybe I could make new holes in the sweeper extension rod if needed. The shafts on each side are rounded on one side and flat on the other. What is the radius of the power sweep 'cylinder'? Does it look like there will be enough clearance to not hit my deflection shield? There's only 4.5" from the top of each shaft to the existing deflection shield above meaning the sweeper cylinder cannot be wider than 9" (twice the radius) including how far the fins protrude. My main goal is to power sweep snow. The kit is not cheap and I can't try before I buy, so I am hoping you can help me out and I can make a better educated guess if it will work. Thanks
Has anyone been able to find a replacement for the poly broom with wire broom and put it on a weed trimmer to strip flaking paint on the deck or even farm buildings??
We got ours with the machine I recommend to contact your local stihl dealer and they can individually price them for you if you like to add them to your tiller
This video was excellent...now I can clean the rocks out of the yard from someone plowing snow and have the paddles throw the rock away from me instead of towards me...duh...
+Anthor Castillo - I got the brush attachment with it and It's only good for light snow. I just bought one and used it for the first time today on about 3cm and once it piled up, it would dig down and not go forward anymore without substantial effort. Maybe I just need to get used to it and slowly figure out the best way to use it. Other than that it did a great job on clearing my walks to the cement... I like it...
***** I watched the Yard Tamer video for the multi-tool and it looks okay. Awkward but okay. The edger attachment looks like rubbish though. I have a Echo SS edger and it works fast. As fast as I care to walk, it edges. I'll stick with Echo, Honda, Stihl and Husqvarna. I purchase the good brands because I've purchased the bad brands.

The wheels, instead of removing them, fold up nice and easy while using the cultivator. I have one and I use it all the time. LOVE IT!
I don't understand so many thumbs down???? You did a great job with the video, very informative and easy to follow.
Nice. I wonder how long those rubber sweeper part last and how much they cost to replace. I'd like to see a close view of how it sweeps the yard without sweeping up and destroying the grass.
Provided me with the information I needed on setting up and using the power sweep.
Would love to get a Stihl power head and paddle but they don't have them in stock on their website.
Really good demo - I learnt a lot. Never knew you could make the power brush rotate clockwise/anti clockwise !
Many thanks.....all the way from London !
We call it counter-clockwise on this side of the pond. Sorry, I just couldn't help it.
With it rotating away from you? You can change the direction it rotates?

Great 👍👍 gonna buy one 😁😁

great video and not boring..thanks
Can the sweeper get moss out of block paving?
the stihl yard boss is great for getting moss off tennis courts care must be taken on tarmac as it can damage the surface

Quero comprar, onde encontrar??
They need to make a yard boss powered by that 4 mix 4 stroke engine.
The 4 mix 4 stroke would be great
Wondering what the use case differences is between the sweeper and the brush attachment. Anyone have any insight on that? TIA

its called a blower , been out for years

Best demo I have seen in a long while
I am going to get me one tonight
Those wheel kits are now standard, the new Multisystem is slightly improved with a new engine as well (although its the same size its a newer version)
The wheel hit looks like it saves your back
thank u have been uploaded this video. Good explanation,.
Nice job on the video and interesting. Do you also use this yard boss as a weed eater?
After a few years of doing this... Add your Labor Time + Parts + Equipment + Coffee + ETC... Might as well get your Driveway done with Tar and call it the day.
In my area a paved driveway makes your property taxes go up.
How do you like it for snow removal?
Like it for under 4 inches lot
wow good demo...where to buy the product?thanks!
will this dethatch decently?
Kinda wanted to see you finish sweeping the end of your drive way.
Have you used the broom sweeper, I have recently purchased one, but I'm struggling to push against the back movement, it just isn't working for me, how do you cope?

I actually run mine so it brooms towards me, the device easiers to run, just wear boots and then pull it verses push it

i just see a fun time
sno stihl mobile with the paddles or like a snow remover
Good video, ty! Would this attachment work for falling leaves, falling fruit (plumes and apples) and acorns?
For acorns, check out "Bag-a-Nut" Push or tow behind models.

grate demo thanks for sharing
Price?
Have you ever used this for light snow?
sure have and works great if the snow is not too wet
Is this suitable to sweep snow? Thank you.
Yes works great as long as the snow is less then 3 inches=)
How much are those power sweep critters? those are awesome
Hey man. i asked ya how are those power broom rubber sweep attatchment critters??? Where do ya order them from???
We got ours with the machine I recommend to contact your local stihl dealer and they can individually price them for you if you like to add them to your tiller
Could u try to use this on snow this winter
yes you can as long as not too wet of snow thats 8 inches deep lol
I would just use my Redmax EBZ 8500 blower on that gravel and it would be done in minutes instead of an hour.
This video was excellent...now I can clean the rocks out of the yard from someone plowing snow and have the paddles throw the rock away from me instead of towards me...duh...
do the flaps get damaged on asphalt?
They have not, they hold up well on the gravel and rock too
Do you think this is also good for snow?
Yes as long as the snow is less then three inches and not full of wet heavy water, it works great
+Anthor Castillo - I got the brush attachment with it and It's only good for light snow.
