Our 350 has the same Blackhawk -67 mod with the props. It's a hot rod. Our B200 has the Proline 21 panel, which I'm not a fan of; we use iPads with Foreflight on yoke mounts.
Marvellous and it looks Mighty Good 2 me up there in that Cockpit !! Beautiful scenery outside, hé what else does someone would want for flying the Best ?? Don't forget 2 Thank ur GOD if you believe because this is living the Good life ur Blessed !! I wish you many more Safe Flights !! ❤❤❤
Santa Monica airport? IATA: SMO ICAO: KSMO FAA LID: SMO ? . Airport about 2 miles (3 km) from the Pacific Ocean (Santa Monica Bay) and 6 miles (10 km) north of Los Angeles International Airport ? are you sure it's Santa Monica airport (Los Angeles?)
It really does not make a difference in flight because N1 runs above 62%, you can move it from high to low and will not see any difference. If you are running on the ground in low idle the air conditioning compressor will kick off. If you land the airplane in high idle you will get into beta much quicker and have shorter landing rolls.
Hi there, to answer your question… yes they are variable pitch. One thing that I really love about the King Air is the “beta” range of the props. We can actually reverse the pitch on landing so the engines are thrusting forward in order to slow the airplane down. The result is a super short landing roll
Yes it does, it’s got the PT6-67A engines and 5 blade props. Compared to the stock -60 engines and 4 blade props. Check out www.blackhawk.aero/upgrade/xp67a-engine-upgrade/
Can you explain the use of high and low idle to me as I see some KA350s flying with low and some with high? Are there specific requirements for when to use high or low idle and if so what are they? Many thanks, Lee
@@waholoopesorry74 after speaking with a real life KA pilot he told me high idle is only used in specific scenarios such as when loaded close to max MTOW or performing short field landings.

What a beauty. My absolute favorite in Microsoft Flightsim, so fun and easy to fly
That was a fun flight!! Love the King Air!! Thanks for posting.
6:28 it's crazy how close flight simulator gets to this level of detail. give it another 10 to 15 years and it will look just like this.
usíng orbx and it really looks almost like this
The sound of Pratt an Whitney engines in sync is a beautiful sound.
Really, really cool ... and with the Blackhawk conversion no less ... very swish!
More like this, please.
Will do!
It's been a while, but that looked like a straight in approach and landing at Whiteman (WHP) up in Pacoima - not SMO.
I love the king air 350, it’s a blessing to fly. Please do more videos
I will get to work on that ;)
Nice Job of managing energy, greased it onto the numbers!!!

Fantastic King Air 350 !!
Looks like you touched down right on the numbers. Good job!
I fly King Air 350i Fusion and I love it!
I fly the Proline 21. Waiting for differences training for the Fusion. Love flying the KA350 !
Fusion is smart, very good to fly! So many options in navigation! But sensitive for cold weather!
Nice King Air!
That is Whiteman (WHP) not Santa Monica.
You are correct, it was a tight squeeze on the ramp

That wasn't Santa Monica, that was KWHP. that's where I fly out of.
So beautiful!
Great video 👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻
what a pilot!
My favorite plane on Simulator, wish I could go back in time for a doo over mate!

EXCELENTE VIDEO..SALUDOS
Could they put any more trees or obstructions under short final?

Don’t ya love that SMO slam dunk ?
Nice
HI, NICE. Why the condition lever on high all the time is it a normal way of operation or can it be in low idle??? Appreciate it

Very nice aircraft, are the propellers equipped with variable pitch? Like a Merlin I guess. On the numbers,,, nice. Thanks for the great videos. HNY

KSMO runway is 3/21 not 12/30. You took off and landed at two airports with 12/30 runways. KVIS does have a 12/30 runway though.
Does this 350 have higher horsepower engines than usual? Takeoff roll seems rather quick
Yes it does, it’s got the PT6-67A engines and 5 blade props. Compared to the stock -60 engines and 4 blade props. Check out www.blackhawk.aero/upgrade/xp67a-engine-upgrade/
@@cleareddirect7013 Figured. Thanks for the info…I could definitely tell there was more power.
Super, but that isn´t Santa Monica, it´s Pacoima near of San Fernando.
I know

low idle on the ground, high idle in the air. that's all there is to it.

@@waholoopesorry74 Once the power levers are advanced to full the position of the condition levers is irrelevant.
High idle is often used for starting the 2nd engine, for a boost to the starter. Also used on a very warm day for the air conditioning.
Wow
Is that a 3D printed cup holder? Been flying 200’s for 10+ years, no cupholder. Would love to know where you got it. Thanks!
It absolutely is ! If you would like one contact me kingairpilot07@gmail.com
Doea king air 350 is the same starting checklist with C90
Santa Monica?
Is that a weird place to put an airport runway or is it just me? Flying over a very populated area!! 😳🤔
The one airport looked a lot like Whiteman
Was this out of Visalia Ca?
KVIS, very familiar!
You went to Whiteman, NOT Santa Monica...
Thank you for clearing that up. We have addressed that in other comments
add some music to the intros and you views will take off!! I recommend epidemic sounds or artlist
Good idea! Thank you for the tip
@@cleareddirect7013 no problem
four stack Whiteman when I see the reservior
you didnt land in Santa Monica lol
That one big tree and the wires at the very end should be removed. Sketchy
That was Whiteman not Santa Monica. ooops.
You are correct
That’s definitely not Santa Monica airport. I don’t even think it’s Whiteman. If memory serves, I think that’s Hawthorne airport.
HEY YOU DIDN’T SAY V1 ROTATE !!!!!!!!!!!😡😡😡😡 AM NOT YOUR FRIEND ANYMORE
MEAN -EEE!!!!!
