  • Just Pain. I know I'm spoiled as a Laker fan but, getting swept hurts. Can't say I expected much from this team at the start of the year, but they built my hope back up, just for it to be crushed right down again.
    This video's not my usual super edited one, just wanted to get my thoughts out there and ramble for a little bit and didn't want to wait a week to get it uploaded. I might make another Laker video in the future that's like my others.

    Not my normal hyper edited video, but wanted to get my thoughts out there as soon as I could. Another normal video is in the works rn on the Suns 👀

    I'm not sure you can say this is the most embarrassing playoff series loss in Lakers history. The fact they were in every game this series. No game ended in a blowout and the average margin of victory was 6 points. I would say the 2011 sweep to the Mavs is worse. Or even the 2004 team that added Malone and Payton but loss 4-1 in the Finals. Hell, you could pick any of the late 90s team coach by Dell Harris. Denver is just a better constructed team with better defenders and scorers.
    Also, we have to stop saying AD is a top 10 until he can prove it more consistently. Yes he has the ability but it takes more than ability to be a top 10 player in the league. His defense has always been his calling card, not his offense. Just look back to his time in Kentucky.

      Like I said at the end of the video, I was trying to overexaggerate like analysts on TV do. I'd agree the 2011 sweep against the Mavs was worse, but not the 90s teams because the expectations weren't as high. I know every game was close, but in 10 years no one is gonna remember that, all they will remember was that it was over after 4 games.
      AD's defense was always there sure, but his potential offensively is incredibly high as we've seen, that's why it's so frustrating to watch him not perform to that level half the time.

      The injury was def more serious than I initially thought when I made the video, but like I said at the end, I'm really not that upset, just giving my best TV Analyst impression.

      Lebron carried?

      @@birdz9252 good point maybe not a hard carry like with the cavs but defini needed him to play waaaay more minutes than he should have. He should be averaging 30 minutes, when healthy, let alone his massive usage

      I think part of that is just the salary cap parity of the nba. No team can really be too complete or great because the best players get maxed out. If you have veteran max players you’re basically screwed.

      @@DriveandThrive I don't wanna make it seem like im hating on him. But he is so good we can all admit. Lebron take a step back, try to hit these numbers 22-25 points a game, 6-8 assists, 6-8 rebounds. Average maybe the 30 minutes. Try on Defense instead of trying to chase every block. Those are still good numbers and if AD gives you 30-10 with good Defense. AR and Rui combine for 25-35.

    I think we need to stop building around Lebron. Its not he is washed or is not good. But he can do more with skill set. He can be our X Factor and not let him be like oh i need to do everything.

    • @ArmanTalks
      @ArmanTalks  Рік тому +1

      I... think I get what you're saying, but that is building around LeBron, so he doesn't have to do everything. Get shooters that can also defend, and get a defensive center so AD can actually do work on offense more than half the games. I think that's the recipe.

      @@ArmanTalks Thats what i meant use Lebron how Denver uses Jokic a bit. Mainly for play making. Get AD a center like he has been begging for, get some wings to help on defense. Good to go

      @@ArmanTalks Bro let's keep it real im not a Lebron Fan but we cannot deny that he is just that good, he has faults in his game but still give 20 a game. We need him in more of a back up role, everyone keeps forcing so much on him. His body isn't there with his mind.

    Lebron! Not front office. Ruin the team. And you truly thi k lbj is better than AD? Let's see... kd,ad,embid,joker,gannis,Luca, steph, Jimmy, Tatum. Dame No debate. Then booker, brown, kyrie ect can all be debate as better. AD can't be the man when homie lbj has the ball 80% of the time and refuses to run a office or for AD the ball

      @ArmanTalks  Рік тому

      You're so unserious bro, you can not be fr talkin about Kyrie, Jaylen Brown, Luka, Tatum, Booker, Dame being better. Be serious. I think AD has the talent to be better than Bron is right now, that was my point, it's frustrating that I know he can be the best player in the league but isn't. He can't be considered the best player on this team when every other game he's making less than 8 shots from the field.
