Hi, I know this vest video is 2 years old. I have watched it several times and I like what you showed. I made 2 vests before using another cite but its been too little and in part I don’t know how to read patterns so having this visual is very good. Thanks
Yeah I am done!!! Laura the vest came out beautifully. It is,a surprise BD present for my husband on the 20th. He will be so amazed. Thank you for your expertise and easy to follow instructions. God bless.
The back turned out great! I had my doubts... nothing to lie! I don't usually do random like that, and I love it!!! If I make one, I will do two sides that I can wear and have it look like 2 different vest. Double the options. Two very different looks!
I like he way you created the V neck. It's the first time I've seen this method. Usually the V is created by decreasing by crocheting 2 stitches together. I'll be adding this to my to do list.
I like this way because I find the edge of the garment is a more dense straight line. When I crochet 2 together, I find it leaves the edge with gaps that I don't like. Thanks for watching!
I commented the other day that my V wasn't coming out right. I ripped out for the 3rd time and retried. It came out, now working on the other side. Yeah .
I learned a lot here....however, I wouldn't waste my time making it in these colors because I know without a doubt my husband would NEVER wear this. In fact when I was watching this tutorial he stopped, looked at the screen and said "What the hell is that (?) you honestly aren't considering making this are you?" I said, "You wouldn't wear this? " His comment (???) " Uh, no, HELL no." So, I'm going to make it with the front colors in the back except use a light grey and a dark grey. This is going to be an extra Christmas gift for hubby! So, I do like the pattern, just not the colors. Sorry Laura.
No offence taken! My Alex is an oddball at heart so he will wear it all! Also, I would have done the same pattern in the back as is in the front, but I had run out of those colours of yarn! O well. At least the front is cute! lol

I can't find the instructions for the checked pattern on the front, am I blind?? Thanks Brightest Blessings
Great dear one
What size are you crochet the vest
Men’s extra large! But I am a medium large woman, and I wear it as a tunic
Please let me know the size this vest fits
I would like to know also
Hi I what this vest for women
No technically for men, but I wear it all the time! So I guess it’s unisex!
