i used Whereby for first time this week and liked it, nice UI and no need for an agent or plugin as its browser based but miss the background blur of teams
Keep Productive using zoom for church gathering - Whereby wouldn’t meet minimum needs: a group of 15 and more for a reasonable price. $59 a month is way out of line for non-profit group meetings. The layout looks good for Whereby and security and privacy are probably far better than Zoom
I'm all ears to feedback. I noticed that the camera didn't focus on me and there were several editing errors. Noted for next time. Sorry folks, and hopefully this was still a useful review.
Whereby is criminally underrated. I learned about it back in 2017 when playing board games online (geeks spearhead the revolution, but the mainstream media takes all the credit for it, as usual). Literally every student I've talked to prefers Whereby to Teams and Skype, I like it much more than Zoom. It doesn't get any more intuitive and the audio/video quality is perfect even on the slower devices.
Thank you! I will be using this for a new job. I like that it will be more accessible for students since Zoom required more bandwidth. I also love the integration with the Miro whiteboard.
I wonder if Whereby offers Webinar function? I would like to have the Webinar embed on my website and users can pay and join in the webinar at any time, before or during the meeting.
The fact that people talk about "security" just goes to show that they know zilch about how it actually works. Nobody wants to listen to your chat with the teacher. The only good thing about Zoom is the virtual backgrounds, but Teams has a better implementation of these.
I recommend to use Google meet because it also screen sharing options even you can share presentation also and participate members 250 as compare to zoom and whereby
Whereby is good but they copy things from other startup and the quality of the app is very bad. I use "xroom.app" and I found it is super easy, functional, and secure. I think Whereby is overrated
*Are you still using Zoom?! Will you be looking at an alternative?*
Let us know below!

Be specific on which app you're talking about

Whereby just has superior/ audio video quality than its contemporaries.
Thanks for the video....helped my online school a lot.
Whereby (ex Appear.in) is a great tool. As a freelancer I've been using it for at least two years.
Does 3 meeting rooms mean that you can share the participants only up to 3 rooms?
Great video, thank you.
I find that Zoom is still much better with the pricing structure and now with additional measures, it's streets ahead.

Zoom is better whrn you use share screen a lot because whereby can use share screen but we can't see people's faces..no small screen videos like zoom
Hey man, can you make a video or recommend sticky notes options for windows (The ones that have the feature of always stick on top)
I want to know which annotation tools we can use for whereby. It's like Zoom, we have a drawing pen. Is there anything similar for Whereby?
hi, thank you for the great info, is it possible to keep my custom domain join link, without showing whereby on the invitation join link?
It feels like no one is able to get web conferencing right.
is admin able to "vanish" from room , and actually still be there but in stealth "invisible" for other members?
is there any conference that can allow 500 participants other than webex?
If I am a guest in a meeting can I record it as well?
Recording costs money though :(
Why is my iPad version sooooo different and limited than the free computer version? Am I doing something wrong when I sign in? Thanks
I would also love to use a second camera as I teach piano online... anybody?
can whereby record meetings?
Aren't you allowed up to 10 people to video chat on skype? And Skype is free.
no need install

Whereby fraudilatly steels money from your account. Do not buy any of its services via credit card.
