HIGH ALPHA PASS ! E-Flite SU-30 twin 70mm EDF RC fighter jet | FUNCTIONAL AIR BRAKE
Initial attempts to get the SU-30 off the lush grass were not successful so a hand launch was made and there followed a great demonstration by Perry of the speed and agility of this twin 70mm EDF jet.

The hand chuck and within 100 feet, just massive vertical. Goes to show just how much slowing power juicy grass has on preventing rotation. This Sukhoi is no slouch.. and the high alpha landing was beautiful to watch. Especially that last little burst of throttle just before touching down.

Good feedback for ModelAir I would say. Agree. Small models generally at this event so short grass pre-requisite.
