Except that the bagpipe isn't a Scottish invention, and was ubiquitous to other European cultures. The Russian bagpipe is known as the Volynka.

This song was written by a Tartar musician of the Crimean Khanate when he followed his Khan to the siege of Moscow during the Russo-Crimean war in 1571. He was amazed by the magnificent architecture of Moscow and thus composed this song to show his respect and admiration. However, after the Tartars and Turks raided the city, the musician felt so ashamed that he burned all of his music scores. Thanks to modern archeological advancement that we can hear it again today after more than 400 years.

The mongols used composite recurve bows, not longbows.
It's impossible to use a traditional english longbow on horseback, since you got to use your whole body strength instead of the arms and shoulders, and their draw weight varied between 100-160 pounds - modern hunting longbows average 60 pounds, and it´s enough for most game

On those frosty days when icicles hang from the walls
and the cold streets and squares are empty,
When the roof of the Kremlin is covered by deep snow,
and dawn itself seems to have frozen,
    then Moscow is asleep.
But when night falls, there is a sound of laughter,
the clink of glasses, filled with sparkling champagne,
can be heard, and there is a song, dance and
    merry-making everywhere you go!
    Na zdorovje toravisch!
    Moscow,
    diamonds are dark by night
    and only candle light
    will make them shine
    Moscow,
your heart is warm and strong.
    Beats out for everyone

    Moscow! Moscow!
