Nice review. You help me encouraged me to buy this game. This racing game is truly amazing and a master piece and it most likely would be more fun to play then TDU2
i'm just curious if you've ever tried the pc version of this game, and which do you find to handle/feel better and think looks better. i'm watching the video and it looks similar to the pc version. system specs and requirements aside, how does it feel vs the pc version.
The problem on TDU 2 is, that almost all races are championship races :( My favourite race on TDU 1 was the Island tour. which took me over 40 minutes to complete :)

hmm, looks like an arcade game (phony physics) And alot like a port of mid night club, and all of those other no track games like NFSS series. I still love the concept of free roaming racer. But they have yet to do it properly on the next gen systems. I would love to see a sim version of Tokyo highway battle
Shame there's no Airwolf in the game. Imagine the time you'd save crossing the island in a supersonic helicopter! We'll have to wait for the sequel, Test Drive: Airwolf
can it be that the drive characteristics are all the same no matter which car you are driving? because in a "test driver" game I expect the cars drive a bit like the real ones... I think

I have this underrated game that's lots of fun! All be it on PS2. Over rated is just a matter of opinion. I've played MGS since it first came out on PS so I have a right to like that game. It's quite odd that you mention they are unrelated to. I've seen and heard the two rival tribes argueing directly about both. And I don't use IGN. I would bet alot of my games aren't in IGNs top 10.
for nerdsneed2die... there are no porsches in this game and there are a lotta german cars...are you talking about lamborghini or mercedes-benz? those are the two that i saw.
@TheSeventiethSeven actually I'm not easily pleased, but thanks for assuming (not). sure compared to GT5 it's bad, but it's an arcade racer made by a company that is probably going to go out of business in a few years. With that in mind, of course they weren't going to be spending millions of dollars on tiny details. And i bet if you didn't have ADD and spent time getting used to the physics (as I've had) you'd realize it is fun and fantastic. period.
do you now what sucks i made it to pro and i had to erase some data for room in my xbox it deleted the whole fire and i had a corvete witch could go to speeds of 213 mph and i had 130,000$

I have the Xbox 360 and the wireless racing wheel. So i think i might buy this game, I have already the demo of this game and it's insane.but the wheel isn't accurat so you must turn it some degrees before the car turns... Thats crap!! but other than that. it kicks ass litterary:P

Yes, there is an RUF dealership on the island, its near the top. And the Enzo and Mc12 are available at the same dealership in downtown.

i know at one point in TDU2 there is a Island tour of Ibiza but I havent gotten far enough into TDU2 to see if there is any for Hawaii
