All you need is the Grenade launcher with PHD and the Aether Blade. GL to knock zombies down and the Aether will one shot all regular zombies

I fully intended to run elder solo ignoring escort because all I really wanted was golden armor. Ended up recruiting 2 randos and blitzed the first 2 and still ignored escort lol.
Basically 2 sets of decoys and tesla storm should have you set for extractors. Wunderwaffle should make outlast a breeze as well, otherwise like 2 sentry guns and self revives should be fine if solo.

I got the game yesterday, my first 5m in a guy walks up and drops 3 golden drops. The dog bones, ether knife, en golden armor schematics. What a nice guy. Now im trying to find out what it is he gave me, seems like some serious stuff.

@@Doughnuts mw3 zombies solo is the hardest when youre coming back from a death, because mercanaries are soooo stupid and when theres no one to revive you or distract the mercs, they will hit ALL of their shots
I love looting in tier 3. I always get stuff for the next match towards the end of the round.

There is no zone 4 or zone 5. It just the spawns tha differ and the battle against time.
@Senpai_ix my issue at the moment is I gotta get use to roaming Z3 solo so the DÆ becomes easier to manage. It's not always bout killing everything and I forget that. Plus, I tend to run weapons that aren't optimal, aside from the one Mega Abomination killer I found.
Dark aether has more zombies and bosses but they are the same strength as tier 3 zombies so yeah that makes it more difficult plus the time thing
I do these 2 contracts solo all the time… such good loot! Just desperate to do all 3 as still need blade schematic
Finally got the dog schematic. Makes things a lot less stressful.

@@christopherhawkins7388 I lucked out and ran into a couple of great guys that invited me into the Dark Aether with them. They helped me get the schematics and said, “now you can go take down the red worm solo”. And he wasn’t lying.
@@christopherhawkins7388 I’ve got over 130 exfill’s and still need three or four schematics. Just gotta keep grinding.
I actually made all 3 Missions solo only. First attempt failed and than all 3 missions in a row solo. But the tank mission I was super equipped... Purple throwing balls (lol) 10x golden plates, dog and either blade...
Still needed the either blade schematic 😢
The absolute BEST way to grind for the VR-11 is by completing Infected Strongholds. My buddy and I cleared every T2 and T3, it took us about 20 minutes, then they respawned and we did them all again. We ended up getting 2 VR-11 weapon cases, both from T2 lol. I went in solo, 3 strongholds in and I find another. I suggest going into a game and ONLY do Infected Strongholds if you're hoping to get one. Hopefully this helps.

Finding randoms that actually get out there and complete contracts is impossible. I’m not the best player, but im solid in zone two, and complete a few contracts in tier 3 zone. The loot I’ve been getting in TERRIBLE LOL!!!

I'm doing act 4 tonight by myself. I've done all of the acts and every mission solo. Not that bad if you plan.
Anyone else having problems with lag, disconnecting and crashing? Im actually enjoying playing mwz, its a nice change of pace. However in the current state the game is basically unplayable.

Did you say it’s only tier 3 level zombies? I thought i had the dark aether was tier 4 and then the elder sigil makes them tier 5- is that not correct?
Huge misconception! They're just tier 3 level of zombies. I hate the "tier 4" and "tier 5" verbage. Very misleading.
As you saw in the video, I was easily able to take out those enemies as if I was in tier 3.
Doughnuts is completely right. Normal Aether is just Tier 2 zombies and Hard Aether is Tier 3.

after just a week of playing i got good enough schematic and loadtout to solo tier 3
I just played a game and found two legendary tools in boxes in tier 3 and I often find one
I wonder if you shoot the little light purple crystals if that opens the door or the key to the door
There are known locations for the keys, I just haven't bothered to memorize them or look them up lol
I play only in tier 1 and 2 currently, and I have all 3 schematics permanently that were given to me by another player and I exfilled with them
I got lucky...I dropped a raygun schematic to one player. Then he dropped the scorcher, golden armor plate, and dog bone recipe. Plus a million bucks.
I totally forgot to mention that the same player dropped me aether blade plans, vr11, and tombstone recipe 😳 😀 😋 Now I dupe and drop stuff for others to spread the spoils
Has anybody tried using the TYR after they disabled snakeshot in public lobbies? I want to know if it effected zombies

People made it seems like it's stronger zombies when it is actually the norm tier 3 zombies. It just look harder because of the amount that is spawned in game.

I have 2 questions about elder dark either:
1.- If you fail the contracts you lose your chance of getting classified schematics? (I read something like this on a website or please correct me if I understood this wrong)
2.- I got the 3 classified schematics today like nothing, does this mean you always get a classified schematic per contract completed?

I cant find a schematic ro save my life and ive done tons of tier 1 and plaemty of tier 2. Question....if youre playing in a group, do schematics drop for each player? Or is it first come, first serve?
Pretty sure if a schematic drops in tier 1 and 2 and even possibly tier 3 also when in a group that everyone in the group gets the schematic. I could be wrong but any time i get a schematic that i dont need while in a group i would drop it for other players but ive had group members then drop the same schematic to show that they also got it from the reward rift. I do know that the reward rifts from the red worm are random for each player tho. I seen a video on that earlier. I had a run last week where i got 3 ray gun schematics in 1 game and yet i cant get the level 2 crystal schematic to drop at all. Its just RNG for them to drop

are you certain the elder zombies are just as strong as T3? I've been using the lockwood a lot lately and in elder sigil it feels weaker for sure but could just be placebo
I haven't done any hand testing yet. But the zombies, feel, like they die just as easily. There are more of them, they seem to be more condensed. But again, no hard testing.
But, if they are stronger, it's not at drastic as any other threat level
Placebo. It still one shots almost everything. Maybe your weapon is build wrong.
They're definitely stronger, the Lockwood goes from 1 hit in tier3 to 2 hit in the elder dark aether. People don't notice because they use the Tyr akimbo that 1 taps everything.

Read in guides that these were “Tier 5” zombies. But you mentioned they’re just Tier 3. And it seems that way with the damage you do to them. Is there a reason why people are assuming they’re Tier 5? Is there any difficulty buff to them?
From all my experience, they are just tier 3 zombies in a smaller map with increased numbers of them. But nothing to increase their personal difficulty.
Very frustrating to have that incorrect verbage... Makes it seem harder than it really is!
@@DoughnutsThis is awesome to hear! Makes me a bit less scared going for it solo as all I read were “Get ready, zombies are Tier 4/5” and I was like “Ah man…”. But today I was able to dominate in Tier 3 solo (thanks to the aether blade and PaP 3 Lockwood).
So if I go to Aether twice and in both cases I only do two random tasks, then I won't get Aether Blade because I need to do all 3 contracts in a single match for it to drop? Do I understand it right? Or does it work differently than you said in the video? 🤔
Exactly. No matter what contact you do first, you'll get the dog bone schematic.
Then you'll get the Golden Armor.
Then you'll get the Aether Blade.
In that order.

Bro on my third Zombie game of my life some random guy gave the aether blade schematic so I’m VERY lucky
The scorcher makes elder alot better. The problem solo is that you really want scorcher and vr11 and you can't run very fast with them.

My Problem was that I got disconnected a Minute before I left the Dark Aether with all 3 Schematics.

I got all 3 schematics yesterday!
I did the DA with only purple rarity, I have never gotten a legendary aether tool even after 100's of tier 3 contracts. I got a eldir sigil after 2 contracts and then exfilled only for it to disappear. Can you not exfill with an elder sigil?
Do you have more than 10 items in your stash?
I'm testing a theory that Contracts are not the way to get the best loot... FYI

@@mrriaan3818 That's your problem. If you have over 10 items in your stash. There's a chance it'll delete things from your backpack.
@@Doughnuts Makes sense, cuz I had a few more items and they all disappeared. Plus when I did the easter eggs for the camera, pills, and dog collar 2 of them disappeared when I exfilled. Now I know why

Once you understand it’s less about fighting and more about attrition/moving around it’s not so bad- it’s almost a different game really. Best of luck!

I just released a vid on my first time trying it solo (and 2nd time ever being in the Dark Aether). It's honestly not all that bad! I wasn't able to do all 3 contracts, but got very close! I definitely could've played it better, and I learned, so next solo run will be easy :)

I’m getting convinced that the item rewards for the elder aether are just terrible, I’ve gotten aether blade cases and golden plates more often in the regular aether.
Probably since it gives you a specific schematic per contracts done, taking a slot in the loot pool

Strange how the harder version is less rewarding since you can only craft a schematic once every 2 days

Doughnuts i know this sounds hard, but you need to do the red worm solo, its possible and i know you can do it. I did it first try no cheating.
Its easy.
Vr11 is from red worm
I did 3 aethers rifts a got no plans missing plates, dog bone
You have to do the elder sigil to get plans, not the regular sigil
you keep saying that the escort is impossible but then you wasted all your Kashmir’s on the easiest contract. You need about 9 Kashmir’s and you can do the escort as long as you kill the abomination before you start it and then save 2 Kashmir’s for each spot where the escort stops

Got to love solo is easy has gold armor plates and leg tool for guns...most people don't have that shit
I did this with tier 2 gun and it was pretty easy
Every time you go into the ether the spawn rate is different and if it was so easy why didn't you do the acv contract

Yes, but when you infil to the Elder Aether again, you will need to do all 3 contracts all over again.

It auto replenishes your armor
That’s if it actually works and doesn’t lag ,been to tier 5 3 times today , and it’s lagged every time I start up the acv contract . The game is a laggy joke .if u equip stuff like flawless and dig bone etc , the game doesn’t even load you comes up connection lost , you didn’t even get in the game and you lost everything plates self res and you gotta wait 2 days before you can craft again, all because actv can’t make proper servers, it’s a joke
