Thank you for the how to do this mission. Here is how NOT to do it. I had to do it 5 times! One time I could not find the perforated target obelisk so make sure you get all obelisks locations from the video. Also I didn't get mirror because I didn't listen to the quadro40k narration properly so I thought the elements will pop one by one instead of watching the colour of the circle. Second time I couldn't find 15th cyst in the mall so I died. Third I got mirror but then I lost it when I killed the coloured zombie near the church with rgl blast when cleaning the horde that came with it. Fourth I went for mirror again, cleared the obelisk but forgot to take the mirror (yes I know!). Only on 5th time I got it.. And I haven't opened the portal with these items. So if I lose doing it I'd be coming for 6th time or more
Dark aether portal should already be open no need to collect items. but you still need it to complete story mission.
I'm on my 3rd try for the mirror. I keep getting mods out of order and run out of time.
U know i died 1 time only becuz of glitch building as i cant even see anything except doors lol. The 2nd time i got all the 3 items

There's an easier way to get on the ship, from where you start, climb the rocks beside it and hug them as you go round to the right, you get to a bit where you can jump over onto a building roof right beside a floating truck and from there you can jump onto the truck and up onto the ship. Then you just jump to grab the red bit and over that and you are on deck

If you go around the closest end of the ship you can just climb aboard.
I just want to note that I have found that Thermites or Trillcharges are the most effective against Disciples and Manglers Lethals that do Damage Over Time to enemies.

So do you have to do the escort part to exfil from the aether if you already completed the escort part before or is there an exfil portal on the map?
You have to finish the escort and kill the boss, yeah. There's no other exit. Alternatively, if you have tombstone perk, you can pick up the items you need and die - your tombstone will be in the monastery on the main map next time. But then you'll have to regain of course.

In comparison to the bad signal mission and the dark aether in general, this looks super easy.
Maybe. It does get quite intense at obelisks. But yeah, I think bad signal is a more difficult mission.
Can I just pick up the mma gloves and exfil, or do I have to do the whole mission?
There are no exfil points there, only the portal that spawns at the end after killing the boss.
But you can go in with a tombstone perk, grab the gloves and die. Then pick up the gloves from the tombstone in the next round (it will be in the monastery on the main map).
So you collected 3 items out of four (drum, mirror, gloves). Right? Does it mean you had to go for the 4th item and do the whole mission again or is the portal now opened forever and you can go and leave any time?
In this video I collected all 4 in one go - 3 from obelisks (mirror, gloves and target) and drum from the boss. But yeah, if you miss any, you can just keep them in your stash and come back to this mission any time to get the fourth one. However, each time you go, you have to complete the whole mission and kill the boss to exit.

Any assault rifle and or lmg with the flamethrower and a scorcher would be good ya?
For the mission itself - RGL as main gun and anything else you like for the boss. Flamethrower is not really effective there. For Dark Aether - AR or BR with flamethrower for sure.

Awesome video. I messed up and forgot to get the mirror. Can I just go back in and just grab the mirror and get out or do I have to recomplete everything again?
You don't need to re-do other items, but the mission itself you'll hand to complete. There's no exfil until you kill the mission boss

I followed your vid and knocked it out solo and in 2 runs. I ran out of time because I took to long look for the spores but I had tombstone. So I just brought in my stuff with 3 turrets. Murdered the boss quick! Thank you
How did you keep your tombstone after leaving? Did you just activate go out of bounds and let it kill you or did you die inside the anomaly?
I just died on my first solo run because of the mimic popping out of the investigation Anatoly. It had me stun locked and I couldn’t move or shoot and it and zombies got my ass 😂
Im trying to figure out, i know i can do any mission in any order for the most part, but to me is tier 4 after what happens to zakhaev or before? To me, from the breif description t4 says it seems you would do everything aside defeat zakhaev then do all t4 then zak. I could be wrong, but nothing shows ( as far as i know ) story wise if some or all of 4 is after or before zakhaev.
Definitely after. End of Zakhaev mission, Ava starts feeling the connection to DA, and then all T4 missions continue on that. So story wise you should do them in the order presented, I reckon they allow to do T4 any time just to ease off time gating for those who don't care about missions much.

Does anybody know what the symbols do? Like do we keep after the mission? Also I was thrown off I didn’t have the same pieces he did but still completed everything luckily with 2 minutes to go

Just watched this wondering if there is an ammo crate at that last boss. I ran out of ammo and failed to complete it earlier
There very well might be. There's an ammo crate in the amusement park area and two in the mall, no reason why there wouldn't be on the stadium. I'd check the area on the entrance to see if there's one there
@Quadro40k Cheers. I completed it yesterday morning. Took the GL in as well as an AR. Smashed it with a couple of sentries set up
I’ve played this mission multiple times & still doesn’t count that I completed the story? Even tho the mission is equipped!
Quite a few people seem to have an issue with the first part of the mission never checking off. But that doesn't prevent you from extracting all 4 items, upgrading them and unlocking the dark aether.
If I recall right, similar issues happened with Bad Signal mission too. So just don't worry about it, at least for now, until it's fixed.

My friend said he has completed it solo now 4 times collecting the items, and said the same thing. I am struggle bussing to do this one solo. I keep dying to the stupidest bugs..... I was running a hoarde in a circle near the end after collecting the items after failing the mission 3 times before hand and having to repeat everything while losing my containment level to 30, got glitched into the map and was unable to finish the mission..... Im just gonna try and hope I can find 2 randoms to help me out with it....
Went through solo but wasn’t aware of the Easter eggs 😂 now I have a challenge to do, looks pretty intense as far as time goes but should be fun. Does tombstones work? JIC 🤷🏽♂️

I completed the mission part in Enfield, I did not do the Easter eggs, and my game crashed, how am I able to go back in there to get all of the Easter eggs again?
Same way you got there the first time. The little portal in the red zone stays there, you can go there any time. Note though that mission would need to be completed each time, there are no exfil points apart from the portal after you kill the boss

I didn't try the jug but can't see why not. Sentries work much longer though.

I don't think so, at least I didn't see one in either of dark aether maps. It's not impossible that I missed one but I think I would know by now.
Messed up on the obelisk kept going back to it with my scorched and it never re activated

You can just grab the one you missed and complete the mission
@@Quadro40k Thanks, I was running strong until I got to the mirrors and my 28 ping wouldn’t let me pick up any ammo mods after napalm. After wasting 5 selfies, I just bailed and barely finished the mission with 45 seconds left. This game goes from great to crap real fast.
@@mustang9549 try taking an RGL with, it makes that particular challenge much easier, simply because you can crowd control better.

That seems to be a bug haunting plenty of people. I don't know if it's purely visual or not but regardless of that, you can still get all 4 items, upgrade the 3 and unlock the dark aether, so in terms of any further content you're good.
Idk how many times i did this with people and investigate the anomaly doesnt have a check mark
You're not alone, a lot of people have the same issue :(
Break away from the group. Go in together but not in a squad
Have done this 5 times and it has glitched at every exfil deleting all my items.
The only idea I have is check that your stash is not overflowing. If it's more than 10 out of 10 items in it, it may prevent extracting new stuff.
I freaking had a good run last night in bad signal and counter measures but it didnt recognize that I investigated the anomaly . what do I do now
Are you able to select the next mission, Union. If yes, don't worry, it's purely visual bug and it actually counted the missions as complete
@@Quadro40k I immediately went to big worm at the end and got credit for beating him on the next mission but it didnt give me credit for investigating anomaly on it as well
@justinhodges9127 my understanding is that's purely visual issue, you still get full credit, all progressing and rewards
Trying to get that fucking mirror is insane even when I go through all the ammo types nothing happens
Ammo mods go in the same order, and you know if you're using the right one if you see souls flying out of killed zombies
I really wish you would show me on the map where you are not just walking there.. for us zoros out there

I don't :) it's a two times 200, one for each of akimbo guns. And the counters overlap a bit, making it look like 200200 rounds :)
How do you investigate the anomaly?
@jacobzehner2004 entering the portal should trigger it.
There's an old going bug that doesn't tick this requirement off though. It's purely visual and doesn't stop your progression, but if it irritates you, you'll need to complete the mission again and it should clear.
You have to do it in order?
If you're asking about items, then no, in any order.
If about missions, you have to complete the Bad Signal first
I completed it and there was no exit 😢 got stuck in there
A glitch most likely :( would have to do it again unfortunately.

Update: beat it first try solo. Next game i upgraded all the items and opened up the new dark aether rift and also went in and completed all 3 contracts with a safe extract

Save the two you have in your stash, then go into the mission for the remaining two. You can even carry them out one by one, but eventually you'll need all 4 present and upgraded to actually unlock the new portal.
@@Quadro40k can explain how to get the third item , once i activate the seal , i shot hundred of zombies , how still cannot get the item , thanks
@@user-sq1ju3im5k I assume you mean the mirror. You need to shoot them with the ammo mod matching to seal's element. There are four panels hovering around the obelisk, interacting with them drops you an ammo mod. You can figure out which element by looking at the circle around it, though I believe they always go in same order - fire, freeze, electric, toxic.
@@Quadro40k Thanks for explaining , so once i activate the seal i will need to activate the first fire ammo to kill the zombie , the visual are very poor here , i fail not because of zombies , as i spent too many time finding the seal and mall cysts location . lucky i already have the first 2 item using tombstone next i just need to kill the boss and complete the mission once again thanks for making the only video that include finding seal location .
