For your style of riding I’d say Mx4 but I think the xxx has some amazing potential for the price. You can’t beat it. I’d rather get an xxx and save the other $1000 towards a new MacBook Pro or whatever else. I’m sure 72v battery upgrades will be coming soon too. Can’t wait to order my xxx. Great video! The XXX is a great bike. It’s about $1500.00 less than the MX4, but is less capable on the dirt due to the rear monoshock’s slight angle. Belt driven also. I bought an MX4.
Heck yeah thats going to be amazing. I want to sit on one of those and rip it around one day to compare. I wanted the lighter weight frame to blend in with other regular bikes all over downtown on the sidewalk and so far it's working perfectly. Even had people say any bigger and that thing would be a dirtbike but as is its amazing. So that makes me feel good downtown. And so far this thing has been handling jumps bigger than my old butt can throw at it. Can't even imagine spending that extra money saved on a beefed up controller to make this thing an animal. These things seem wild when tuned
Whaaat I haven't heard even the slightest rattle yet and I always think of it. Today I'll take it out and check for any sand or debris plus any signs of movement. Thanks for the kind words man I'll keep em coming

Shipping for most people is usually 3 weeks overall. Almost 1 for them go get it ready and send it to you and the rest is shipping. If your going to be going over large jumps your answer is the mx4. If it's for just speed and to be able to handle any normal bumps and ruts with smaller jumps then the xxx will definitely work.
Hey I live in Grand Blanc as well. I am getting an XXX here in the near future. What has been your experience with local law enforcement with this bike?
It's been great. The xxx has a pedal kit now available from the factory so that should make it perfect for riding anywhere you want for the most part. Can't wait until you get one they are a blast.

To be honest I haven't taken it down to 30% yet and I've gone on 20 mile rides. I'm waiting to see when I get to go on a ride long enough to really test it out on cement and dirt. Maybe a good video topic
An ebike is like a bicycle if it has pedals. If it doesn't, like the xxx I'm riding than it's a big gray area. I've been totally fine riding on all the sidewalks and subdivision streets as well as any trails without being hassled at all.
Technically it’s “off road only” but if you’re not riding like an “a..” 99% of police will just pass you by assuming you’re a bicyclist. They only start caring if you’re doing 25+ mph in the bike lanes or 10+ mph on the sidewalk. Otherwise you can get it registered and insured (kinda tricky) as a moped and ride it legally.
@ubroberts5541 I've sent luna some photos and they just said hey we need more photos to send them in order to get you one. I was like I took a photo from the underside and side view. Idk what else you wanted as I did say I had to bend the seat back up a half inch in order for it to look decent around town. They don't care about anything other than the initial sale is the vibe I've ever got. I even said I was told by someone on youtube that my seat was bent and they didn't acknowledge it. I'm just used to companies wanting to be behind a product like alot in the woodworking industry. @lunacycles
Speed & power is like 70% of what we want. Noise ends up being something people like. I've had so many people say it sounds awesome vs being loud or what not.
I agree and try not to go crazy especially when others are outside and around. Wheelies in public around others are what I notice get the most bad looks as I see online. I can't even do one.

We live in the same area! I have a couple people I ride with on sur rons and a xxx. I love ripping the golf course 🤙🏽

Make sure you put some foam pads on the battery if you go trail riding. Mine came loose dont know about yours but love the content keep it up!

What was the battery at the end of this video!? Solid battery life
Can't recall at the moment as it was a while ago. But normally after about 20 miles of good riding I'm around 40% - 55% depending on terrain

i think i can see your seat is kinda bent. mine is bent a bit worse and it bothers me so much. have u noticed and figures any fixes?

Luna will replace it with an improved version if you bought it from them. They have a fix for this.

The problem, it's not a E-bike, it's a motorcycle.
A little light and underpowered to be considered such. But as the volts approach 90v territory I can definitely see that being the case
