    For the most part, Stickum wouldn't benefit most players but in Dwight Howards case it did benefit him. His role was to basically just grab rebounds, catch alley oops, and block shots. He never needed to dribble the ball or shoot a jump shot. So Stickum would help him play his role at a higher level than the other guys who played the same role.

    Cycling has to be the most crooked sport out there, the extremes those dudes go to are insane

    • @MrVvulf
      @MrVvulf 2 роки тому

      There's consistently been cheating in cycling for the past 100 years. The athletes have abused every substance you can imagine. The whole sport is a joke from an ethics standpoint, which is a shame for those who were good enough to win (like Cadel Evans), but lost to the cheaters who comprise most of those at the "top" of the sport.
      There's been a few greats who most experts agree didn't use drugs (Greg LeMond, Gino Bartali, Cadel Evans, Bernard Hinault), but they are the exceptions, not the rule.

    @8:35 I want to know the same thing. Wideouts in the NFL used it and that makes sense you catch the ball and don't want to let it go, in basketball it could cause more problems than benefits.

      not for a center. Rebounding, dunking dont require dribbling or jump shots so it would help him grab the ball better than the other centers/rebounders

    The first clip was Rosie Ruiz In 1982, Ruiz was arrested for embezzling $60,000 (equivalent to $168,000 in 2021) from a real estate company where she worked. She spent one week in jail and was sentenced to five years' probation.She then moved back to South Florida, where she was arrested in 1983 for her involvement in a cocaine deal. She was sentenced to three years' probation. In January 1984, Ruiz married Aicaro Vivas,divorcing in August 1986 but keeping the Vivas surname thereafter. In April 1993, she was working in West Palm Beach as a client representative for a medical laboratory company.
    As of 2000, she still maintained that she ran the entire 1980 Boston Marathon. However, an acquaintance, Steve Marek, said that she admitted to him a few months after the race that she had cheated, recalling that "she jumped out of the crowd, not knowing that the first woman hadn't gone by yet. Believe me, she was as shocked as anyone when she came in first.
    Ruiz died of cancer at age 66 on July 8, 2019, in Lake Worth Beach
