No worries.
It's going so well for you two. Congratulations on all your hard work.
I love your attention to details in the design of your home. Congratulations! I am watching the eruption everyday back in Iceland as well. Take care!!
Finn you treat your workers well, feeding them was an act of kindness. I tried construction work when I was a teenager and I only last for a few days
Lol, I tried driving tricycle and it's ok. God blessed me with joining the US Navy and retired 20 years later. I love the Philippines my homeland.
You got that right, that's why every uniform cocscrewer is too lazy to pi$$ standing up, yet they drain our economy as we're $34 trillion in debt with evil nonsense like evading countries like Iraq etc for BS WMDs lies.
I disrespect every ahole uniform draining our poor taxpayers
9/11 & J6 etc happened while uniforms stood around with their finger in their arse, getting easy peasy money

Love watching the progress of your house building. That's going to be an awesome house when it's done!
💪
Finn will be d Village chairman 😊but no kidding aside love all d support and ❤building their dream house !
Awesome dude. Congratulations. My wife is also from the Philippines, southern Mindanao. We just bought some property in the province where her family lives. Hagonoy. We’re looking forward to building our house there. Hopefully one of these days I’ll make it to your dive shop.
Loved it - thank you Finn and Sherlynn! Well done workers. That is a great days work.
I would suggest for you to cover a detachable grill on that canal drainage to avoid someone's foot going down at night or to anyone not familiar with it :)
Love seeing you too caring and loving each other day by day. ❤❤❤
When we concreted our 2nd floor, we ordered ready mix, cheaper, faster. One hour. The mix is also surely scientifically calculated.
Yes, shout out to the workers. The whole community coordinates to build your house Finn abd Sherlyn.
You have a nice place! There's a lot of trees and grasses for the animals to eat. You can raise cows, carabao, goats, chickens and pig 😊
Of course that creature is common sight on land because it is not a Turtle but rather a Tortoise that dwell on the land while the Turtle live in water and they are both reptiles. In Filipino they are called "Pawikan" for the Turtle and "Pagong" for the Tortoise. You are building quite a mansion on the hilltop. Nice spot on the rooftop for the scenic views around.
It's fun watching your house update from the beginning till now.. happy for you both.. 👏👏🤙🤙🥰🥰
Nice workers, no time and materials wasted.... 👍👍👍👍👍
Nice job well organized and lucky that the rain was just temporary but it's good that there is no sun so the concrete doesn't burn to fast. Start to look like a house now . Me and my ph wife are also moving down to Philippines but to Bicol in maybe 7 years ahead still building apartments and later our house . Regards from north Sweden.😊
Awesome! Hopefully it will rain some days after this concreting the roof! Slowly drying is much better than hot sunshine to dry this roof fast. Going strong with the fine workers you have Finn & Sheryl! God bless you all!
Good day Finn and Sherlyn! Bless you both!
Thank you for giving jobs to these men. Temporary as it is, but that's good enough for their families. And thank you for taking care of them. 💗
It's magical, like a team dance!!!!! Very good!
Hey Finn, first all else, let me express my most sincere gratitude for being immensely loving and for being very good to my homegirl Shirlyn. She seems like a truly nice, kind, and sweet young Filipina, unlike a whole lot I have known through my 71 years in life. Please take good care of her. And you too.
I just came back from doing the Camino de Santiago where I met a wonderful Belgian gentleman who is an avid diver. We got to talk after he saw the Philippine flag on my backpack and he knows that the Philippines is a divers' paradise. It was here that I recommended to him to check out your diving service and told him that you are a diving authority in the Philippines. So, please do not be surprised if an avid diver from Belgium comes looking for you.
All the best . . .
Great progress with the house Finn. Just an observation with the roof overhang. When we built our house we created a shallow channel about 6 inches from the edge of the concrete roof, asked the builder not to make the roof dead straight so the water runs into the channel and never settle on the roof.A down pipe was attached to the side of the walls where the water ran to and was collected in drums. That water we use to water the garden.
Don’t know what the water supply is like where you are but I know in tropical countries water shortage can be a real problem sometimes.
Excited to see the finished project
My favourite couple inspiring me again to create, & build the happy life we deserve... 😅
Truly, we need to have that strong foundation, not just for the house, but majorly your kind of relationship as a very loving couple. 🤩😇😍

Im happy to bpth of u finn and sherlyn. stay safe..God bless!
Not just an ordinary house but a mansion. Congrats to both of you.
Wow. Progress! I see there are GI sheets under the concrete roof but wow, there is a lot of waterproofing ahead.
It’s a good construction practice to put extra cement to the concrete mix to counteract the effect of the rain. I think this was done in your concrete pour.
- from a retired Pinoy civil engineer now watching your dream house construction in Florida.
Happy house building!
Adding extra cement to the concrete without mixing it or after it is laid down causes hotter areas in the concrete thereby causing it to crack more in some places. A common problem in Philippines construction.
Amazing 🤩 All the best to you, Sherlyn, and Jake.
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
hellow Finn & Sherilyn sorry to hear your bad news but have a rest and god will bless you again he had a purpose for your child he needs cherubs and angles to do work for him to look after the children on earth, god bless you both XX+x
You have good camaraderie with the workers; feed them well and they will perform their best.
A roof over your head is very important, nice going😊
Hi. Your team is very dedicated. They work hard and there is a lot of progress. The concrete mix that was poured in this video is way too wet! It weakens a lot. The engineer for this construction calculated the requirements for the correct mix to be required. That means you need to be very accurate on the ingredients and the amount of ingredients per mix. Adding water makes it easier to work with, but this is not strong. Certainly for the long term. Get yourself a quality control protocol and manage it accordingly, to avoid costly issues in the future!
How do you waterproof/rain screen decks or concrete roofs?
Your house is built with love and teamwork 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Wow so beautiful 😍 congratulations to both of you. Maganda iyong ginawa niyo kaysa mag rental ng bahay, oneday matatapos din iyan.
Happy for both of you as you keep helping others and even you have built a school for others now it's time for yourself. So excited for this 🎉❤🙏🙏

Good day. Nice, Finnsnow, you build your own home here in Philippines. I'm one 1 of your follower subscriber since I was in hk 2016 with Kulas Kyle, I always watch your blogs. Power on. Rona from Jagna, Bohol.
Thank you for the like I really appreciate hope 1day if you have time each other with Kulas and friends collaboration. GOD BLESS
if you take care of the workers..they will bring back the good deeds thru their work...
Placing concrete mixer in the deck the same place where it pours concrete was a bad idea. The vibration will not cause the wet concrete any harm but will damages the already settled concrete setting on the previously poured concrete on the first hour(settled in 2 to 3 hours). The problem is during those 2 to 3 hours while it begins to set and became semi hard, the vibration will cause the rebars to detaches from concrete bonding, it will not appear when removing the forms but it will cause corrosion on the rebars in the future and later causes cracks. I hope it will not happen.
Totally correct 100 %
Good job with the drainage system...prevent soil erosion..
Sherlyn's bro needs to chill... BUT for sure his a big help. Maayong buntag Fin loving the building updates.
That's whi i have big respect to all construction workers building a house is not a joke need a lot of effort salute to you guys👋👋goodluck finn/sherlyn
Remember to water the concrete when it begins to dry, (twice a day) I think for about 10 days, to help in the curing process. Concrete gets very hot during the drying process, and it will crack unless you put water on the surface. Especially when it's exposed to the sun. You'll probably have to do this yourself so be prepared with a hose and water.
love the new update Finn, looking forward to the project reveal
Can't wait to see your home finished with that view of Apo island framed. I was @Apo island last Feb and I can't believe I've forgotten how beautiful it is underwater., and I was just snorkelling. What I'd give to be able to live just a few hours away from Apo island. For us living in Manila its a major undertaking 😂 with several months of planning
We had our 6 br house build in a 22 hectars of property it took almost 4 months the more man power the faster it is and Filipinos are hard working people they are good in what they do .
Ya when its come to work filipino is they love what we do and i see your worker so industrrous your so lucky,,you have a good worker, your house one by one you see the progress.
