WOW ! That is awesome, I am an American contractor working here in Kuwait. I love catching big fish. I went to this place and the guards would not let me fish there. I hope there is access somewhere near by. Fantastic cobia ! great catch...wish i could go sometime, I really want to learn all about fishing here. Thanks for your time.

اي والله زين ماصادوكم ممنوع اهناك شكلكم بالخفر تشتغلون لووووووووول ولا شلون داشين للان الخفر كل نص ساعة يمر يجيك وانا ملاحض المكان صارلي مده طويله بس في يوم واحد الخفر مايكون متواجد اهناك موفقين شباب وبالعافيه عليكم بس ما انصح احد يصعد فوق جسر الخفر ممنوع وغرامه 500 دينار في جسر ثاني يمه تقدرون اتحدقون اهناك موفقين انشاالله

I have been there twice now....I thinking I am fishing the lures too fast. I can almost cast from the concrete breakwater all the way to the mandrake bridge. I will try again....ha ha. I see you use handlines, that means you are just hold the lures in the current?
I am happy to hear the barracuda are safe to eat here, we saw a few of them two weeks ago when we were there.....What is the name of the great silver fish you caught?
Also I have learned that the barracuda in the USA carry a very dangerous bacteria and can make a person very sick if you eat them. Is this true here also? Thanks again Bdran, I am looking forward to your next great videos......your friend, DON
i am thinking of fishing the piers at the scientific center...the last time i was there they are closed for maintenance. I wonder if they are open for fishing again? Most of the fish I am catching lately are only sea catfish....

I and my two friends went yesterday, there did not seem to be any fish there. I could not reach the bridge the wind and tide were not in my favor. Two men were handlining from the bridge, but they did not catch any fish that i saw. oh well, that's the luck of fishing.....ha ha

@DonMartin1957 yes DOn i use the handline i throw it about 20-30 m and pull it back untill fish come and eat the lure..i use a heavy lure dude

@DonMartin1957 hello Don yes kingfish come close to this area and the season starts in Feb and ends in the last of April..
BIG cobia..... how much did it weigh? i am guessing 60ish lbs
