Theres reports of Lewis's car having a DRS rule broken where it was found that his rear wing did not comply with the rules regarding the maximum gap between two elements of the wing when the DRS overtaking aid was deployed.
The gap was measured to be larger than the maximum permitted distance of 85mm.

that was a rlly nice lap but he's currently getting investigated for DRS infringement
but still to be determined, since Max touched the part in question - they’re investigating.
@Ponfi yeah, I mean you can see it on the video. Max pulled a screwdriver out of his glove to adjust the Drs system. 🙃
@Ponfi the gap of the rear wing is millimeters wide - touching it means the test cannot be objective.
@Wind Rose That's not true you’re not an expert, the gap is millimeters - and can absolutely be damaged by hands. In any case the problem is that a safe objective test cannot be made because the precise part has been tampered with. It’ll be up to the experts to decide.
@Wind Rose then the experts will be able to determine this with ease. But there are more possibilities. The part could have been damaged - then fingers widened the gap beyond what’s legal. There are many possibilities the differences of legal and illegal is measured in millimeters - this is exactly why the rules on no tampering exist. Let’s see the outcome of the investigation.

With DRS rear wing infringement, unfair advantage was gained
The FIA saw on camera's that Verstappen touched the rear wing after the session, which could have made the gap to what it is now. Verstappen has to summon for the stewards aswell
@@natteharry391 verstappen is summoned for a sporting regulation infringement, which will likely give him a hefty fine to pay (I'm pretty sure he will get punished, no matter if they penalize hamilton or not, because he broke the rule no matter what and the case got so much attention), not a grid penalty, because sporting regulation infringements (almost) never get race related penalties.
any logical thinking will confirm that putting your hand on a closed rear wing cannot bend the carbon fiber, that withstands downforce, speed and corner forces, to create a technical regulation infringement that wasn't there beforehand. but because the fia now needs to prove that that is the case, and on a very short notice, (since mercedes is innocent until proven guilty) hamilton might get away with it by claiming a human hand can permanently bend rear wings even if it makes no sense.
