How many Stableisers do you have ?
Currently have 25 stabiliser cows and 10 in calf heifers and 2 bulls although increasing numbers every year. Fantastic cows. 👍

What are soil temperatures like ....any more grass growth?
Not sure of the temp as I haven’t measured it but growth is still really good given time of year. 30kg/ha/day I’d say average. Cows have gone back out 🤞 weather plays ball to get across the meadow land one final time.

You said before rye seed got expensive. What about barley peas mix whole crop?
Yes rye is about 250% more this year than last year making it a less desirable option. Peas and barley would work really well and it something o did last year. We have looked at bringing it back into rotation after out wintering cattle another year. 👍
