VEVOR Demolition Hammer REVIEW

- Demolition Hammers are very useful tools for a wide variety of jobs. When VEVOR reached out and asked if I'd be interesting in testing out their demolition hammer, I gladly accepted. Having a limited time to "test drive" this tool, I went to work seeing how it held up with different materials, and in different conditions, including freezing temperatures. Thus far, I'm impressed with it and give my thumbs up! Enjoy the show.

Except its actually a 1700w vevor jack hammer with 3500 watts "peak" power. The cable is 14 gauge to the machine. They used shady labeling techniques. However still seems like it works from your video.
@@Kufunklefec It busted up a big limestone rock today when I first used it.That's a hard rock to break.
@@bauhausbauhaus9699 yes the one I got seems to work too. But its not 3500watts (20 amp circuit 12 gauge cord). Just a regular 14 to 16 gauge cord will work and a regular 15 amp circuit. Their shady labeling caused me to buy a super beefy power cord so it could draw 3500 watts continuous without catching on fire, then it arrives and its actually 1700 watts continuous, 3500 peak (aka for 1 second on startup). Basically a waste of paying 3x more for a thick cord. Just watch out for that, otherwise it seems to work ok.
That is a really nice tool to have handy! Thank you for sharing your review! God bless the Precious Pepper Family!
Thank you for taking the time to create a detailed honest review
Great review. My son has many Vevor tools, and he really likes their products. Thanks for the review! Continued blessings to you and all the Peppers.
Papa, I’ll share this video with 2 contractor friends. I trust your impressions 💯. That is a nice tool for your homestead. I’m tickled that you had the opportunity to review it.
Papa Pepper 🌶 appreciate your videos Listening 🌼 Mass USA TYVM 🇺🇸 Papa Pepper and Family+Doug Ashley
Your a hard worker and usually do jobs thinking of what you have. This tool will allow you to do alot of hard materials alot easier on you body And on your back. 🙌
Pretty impressive tool.
How do they get 3500W out of a 120V outlet?
120v x 15Amps is 1800W.
Most standard outlets in the US would struggle with the draw as we usually have 15amp or 20amp breaker and wire ratings. I have a 30 amp plug at 120v that will run the equipment just fine.
Very cool, Papa Pepper! That looks so useful!
looks like a great new toy enjoy hugsssssss
Papa breaking rocks. Glad y'all got some of that broken up. Keep up the great work. I figured you were out at the cement slab yard.
Kool. U make me want one & I don't even have nothing to bust up.
cool
Its hammer time!
Lol
Those sure come in handy doing work here in the Ozarks. We grow rocks at our farm lol
Now to use it to make some stuff to sell on Etsy. :) Looks fun. I definitely had a Tim the tool man Taylor reaction when you pulled it from the box.
I have been wanting one! Dunno what I would use it for, but I don't care 🤣
You can really put it to use living on that Ozark rock!
I wonder how it would work on tree stumps? Split them enough to remove them a bit?
I need to borrow one for about 30 seconds.🙄😁
I have a demonic vine, covered in briars, growing under a concrete slab.
The slab is only about an inch thick but, none of my hammers are heavy enough to make a dent.
Thanks for sharing this one! ✌️♥️🙏🤜🇺🇲
@Jesus is Lord use Draino drain cleaner around roots or drill holes & put it in holes liquid or granules...it will kill it but you gotta pull it out..several treatments it works I had yucca trees growing up by my pool & bulging the pool..it worked.
Thank you for your help but, I can't get to the root.
It's under the concrete.
How it's so strong with very little sun hitting the base is a mystery.
Thank you again for your help!✌️♥️🙏🇺🇲🇮🇱✝️🤜
Wonder if the harbor freight bauer is a better option for double the price.
Careful when diggin theirs a lot of riggin akhi! 😂
I WANT A JACK HAMMER!!!!!
More projects for homestead 👍🙃hope you gets lots done with it...
That does seem to be very useful for the rocky terrain you have.
Good vid/review, thank you. I'm shopping for an el cheapo demo hammer, this Vevor sucker seems a winner. Funny thing though, every Amazon link from UA-cam vids reviewing it (including yours) shows Mophorn as the brand name on Amazon. Dunno if Vevor rebranded themselves or what.
Yeah, not sure if Mophorn is a division of vevor or what
mine came with oil all over it. you didnt show if it needed oil or if it comes with it. im waiting on customer service from amazon because Vevor directed me to them.
👍👍👍
I have one but mine leaks oil bad but works good
Real test supposed to be on 4-6'' thick slab with rebar in side a room .
I have some very large rocks that you are more than welcome to come try it on!!!
Deal
Great video I am eleven 👍🏼❤️
We thought you had that birthday... should I wrap up a jackhammer for you?
is it normal that the air outlet (that round black vent) gets pretty hot?
I have not personally noticed that. Unsure at the moment
I was wondering how it would do against limestone or sandstone?I need to redo a small driveway. Its got mostly busted up asphalt and a real mess.I want to remove it all and replace it with rock I have in my backyard creek as a base then cover the rocks in concrete.I just ordered this and hope it really does the job.
I think it's tackle sandstone or limestone amazingly. Let us know
@@PapaPepper It made quick work of limestone today straight out of the box.Its one badass machine for the price.Cant beat it.
@@bauhausbauhaus9699 glad to hear, it impressed me for the price too
Unconventional uses? Driving T-posts and is there a spade bit that can be used to cut through root mass (bamboo grove needs removing), replacement bits/other shaped bits available?
A larger blade bit would be great for bamboo. Good thinking
Now that's it a year has passed how is it performing?
Great. Use it often. Got it with me in the van on a jobsite right now. Good question
Thanks, I have some rock work and retaining wall stuff in Bella Vista, it's affordable to pick up and not be put out. I appreciate the review

"Companies reach out to us to test some of their products" ... So, ACME Comb company has yet to "reach out".
Correct, no comb company has yet reached out

Wow, no wonder that cost under $100 in Poland. My 25 years old makita hm2202c 21.9 jules is much faster 😂
Greetings! Czesc! My grandparents/great grandparents spoke Polish, and now some of my daughters are learning.
@@PapaPepper
Thats nice to hear that, i hope learning will go smoothly.
Great regards
@@polskipartaczwjukej6066 thanks much
No offense but stone breaks easy regardless. I'm a concrete guy. The real test is on concrete only.
None taken, but, no offense, stone vary in density and hardness
I hear you. Granite would be a nice test.
Just my experience in breaking stone with demo hammers has been easy. Im in sw pa though. Not a drop of granite.
@@danielpatrick368 indeed it would
@@PapaPepper i do like some vevor stuff though. But have only bought screeds so far for placing concrete. I had an xtream brand little breaker though that worked decent for small stuff & i feel like vevor is the best brand in that category. Could of bought one for $85 if i traveled an hour for it. But i was able to get the red bauer 35lb hammer for $200. The Hercules had just went on sale for the same price ($399) & too bad the guy didn't wait a week for his home project because he would of probably gotten that. & In turn i would have it now. The Bauer serms good too though.
