Third Battle of Panipat and Zamzama Cannon. The Zamzama cannon was first used in the Third Battle of Panipat. Afghan ruler Ahmad Shah Abdali had prepared two cannons in Lahore. In 1761, mir Naseer Khan Noori, the Baloch ruler of Kalat, played an important role in the battle against the Hindu Marathas at Panipat, who participated with his 15,000 fighters as an ally of Ahmad Shah Abdali in this battle. After the victory of the Pakhtun Baloch alliance of Ahmad Shah Abdali and Mir Naseer Khan Noori against the Hindu Marathas, both Zamzama guns were brought back to Lahore.
A cannon was dropped in Lahore. The second cannon was being taken to Kandahar when it was submerged in a storm in the Chenab River. Lahore's cannon was later also called Bhangi's cannon, but Abdali's army named it Zamzama. During the reign of Mir Naseer Khan Noori, Gwadar was handed over to Timur Sultan, the ruler of Oman. Gwadar was made a part of Pakistan in 1958 during the tenure of Malik Feroz Khan Noon. Today, state institutions in Gwadar and Peshawar are facing resistance from non-state actors, but in Islamabad and Lahore, one institution of the state is clashing with another institution.
پانی پت کی تیسری لڑائی اور زمزمہ توپ ۔ زمزمہ توپ پہلی دفعہ پانی پت کی تیسری لڑائی میں استعمال ہوئی تھی۔ افغان حکمران احمد شاہ ابدالی نے لاہور میں دو توپیں تیار کرائی تھیں۔ 1761میں پانی پت میں ہندو مرہٹوں کے خلاف لڑائی میں ان دو توپوں کے علاوہ قلات کے بلوچ حکمران میر نصیر خان نوری نے اہم کردار ادا کیا تھا جو اس لڑائی میں احمد شاہ ابدالی کے اتحادی کی حیثیت سے اپنے 15ہزار جنگجوئوں کے ساتھ شریک تھے۔ ہندو مرہٹوں کے خلاف احمد شاہ ابدالی اور میر نصیر خان نوری کے پختون بلوچ اتحاد کی فتح کے بعد دونوں زمزمہ توپوں کو واپس لاہور لایا گیا۔
ایک توپ لاہور میں چھوڑ دی گئی۔ دوسری توپ قندھار لیجائی جا رہی تھی کہ دریائے چناب کے طوفان میں غرق ہو گئی۔ لاہور والی توپ بعد میں بھنگیوں کی توپ بھی کہلائی لیکن ابدالی کی فوج نے اسے زمزمہ کا نام دیا تھا۔ میر نصیر خان نوری کے دور میں گوادر کو عمان کے حکمران تیمور سلطان کے حوالے کیا گیا تھا۔ گوادر 1958میں ملک فیروز خاں نون کی وزارت عظمیٰ کے دور میں پاکستان کا حصہ بنایا گیا۔ آج گوادر اور پشاور میں ریاستی اداروں کو غیر ریاستی عناصر کی مزاحمت کا سامنا ہے لیکن اسلام آباد اور لاہور میں ریاست کا ایک ادارہ دوسرے ادارے سے ٹکرا رہا ہے۔
