I had the pleasure to fly the B787-9 United Polaris - business class last august 2018 MUC/SFO and I have a few words- simply marvellous! how powerful ! and looking at my TV-monitor- most of the time- I could not believed we were flying certain times- at almost 41.000 feet hight ! THANK YOU BOEING!
Had a ride on the 787-800 last week, MEL-DPS-MEL. I could not hear any hydraulic pumps, gear or flap movements at all, GE fan engines not intrusive, just making synchronous pleasing hum on TO, very very impressed. It's a beauty & well worthy of following on from the 747.

divana prabawa all aircraft you mentioned were game changers, for the aviation industry at the time, the 707 set the standard for jet travel and luxury, the 727 set the standard for being fast, luxurious, and resilient. While the 717 shows how versatile that type of aircraft could be.
I grew up going to charleston airport and watching planes with my dad...not so much after 9/11 tho. i was obsessed with boeings planes and never dreamed 20 years later they'd be sending the 787 10 off there
Don't know who produced this for Boeing, but they should take a look at how their main rival does this type of video. There was literally more time showing the thing taxiing (over 5'30) than in flight (less than 90 seconds). There also seemed to be two false engine power wind-ups while the video shows the aircraft taxiing. The aircraft itself is nice, but the video (as a production), leaves a lot to be desired.
That is what I want to say. :) Engines sound like that, when they are going to take of or when they approach to runway they reduce the speed and balance the approach speed to have nice landing. In runway when they are taxing I never heard something like that. :( Worse edit ever seen.

787 are powered by British Rolls Royce Trent Engines
Hate to be that person, but the 787s are just called the 787-8, 787-9 or the 787-10, without the two zeroes at the end.
The engines. Are not GE. This plane use a ROLLS ROYCE TRENT .
