So are you able to transfer the Lid Angle Sensor without having to reprogram and still have display go to sleep when lid shuts?

That's correct. Full functionality with its own angle sensor.
This model requires a chip transfer from the old screen, which we didn't cover in this video, as it's too time-consuming. Hopefully, when the new recording setup is up and running, we can shoot that part of the process.
