Sideloadly Guru Meditation Error Solution

- This video will go though all the various fixes to resolve the very annoying "Guru Meditation" error in Sideloadly which will prevent you from successfully singing onto your AppleID and password to push ipa applications to your iOS and iPAD OS devices.
As with everything computer related, step 1 when you get an error should always be to reboot to see if it fixes it. This includes rebooting the computer and your iPhone/iPad. Please ensure you are running the latest version of iOS or iPAD OS on your device and the latest DESKTOP version of iTunes on your computer as well as the latest version of Sideloadly. If all else fails try using a different Apple ID with both iTunes and Sideloadly and try using a different version of Sideloadly!
SIDELOADLY ADVANCED OPTIONS ** ONLY IF NOTHING ELSE WORKS **
1. Under your Apple Account, select "Advanced Options"
2. Check "Try to support iOS 7+
3. Check "Remove limitations on supported devices"
4. Under "Anisette authentication" select "Remote".
5. Click "Advanced Options" again to exit options
NOTE: On both PC & MAC, ensure you have sufficient space on your iOS or iPAD OS device before trying to push an ipa app from Sideloadly.
IMPORTANT: Please ensure you are running the latest version of iOS or iPAD OS on your device and the latest DESKTOP version of iTunes on your computer as well as the latest version of Sideloadly. Sideloadly wont work on newer MACs that don’t use iTunes. If the DESKTOP version of iTunes wont work then try the Windows Store version instead. Sometimes the 32-bit version will work when the 64-bit version will not so as needed try both.
NOTE: If your iPhone or iPAD doesn't show up in iTunes after plugging it in and signing on with your AppleID and password try using an Apple brand cable rather than a third party cable. iTunes can be very picky about which cables you use. If you get an error about being unable to use XCODE that typically means your Apple ID is or was at one time a minor restricted account. Try using a new Apple ID with both iTunes and Sideloadly. If your phone tells you that you need to enable developer mode to run a sideloaded app, open setting on your iphone and type developer mode in the search, then turn it on. It will have you reboot your phone and then it should work. Another fix that has worked for some is to change your AppleID password.

To summarize for those who don't want to waste 21 minutes:
-install iTunes and authorize your PC
-deactivate your antivirus
(-run Sideloadly as admin)
I've authorized my PC in the past and back then I didn't have to turn off my Windows Defender, so I was a bit confused why it didn't work anymore, but following these steps worked for me.

i've carefully followed each step but i think this is outdated because i see a lot of older comments saying it works but recent comments (the past week) saying it didnt work so i think its something new. i'm using Ipogo version 2.5.3 and sideloadly v0.26.1 and the error's i get are:
Got error: Login failed (-36607): Unable to sign you in to your Apple ID. Try again later.
Retrying with alt Anisette

Follow the advanced options i provide in the video description they should help
@@DIY-Nick if i dont use them the app instantly closes but when i use it i get the guru error
@@accended2076 if it doesn’t work even with the advanced options Remote setting you must have another issue. Go back through all the steps in my video and description you likely missed something

I have had this issue and have been trying to fix it for the past 3 days before finding this video. What helped for me was following all the steps up until turning off my firewall and basically most of the things I could turn off. I did this, then once I saw that it actually worked my jaw dropped. Thank you very much for this informational and step by step included video, it has helped so much I will be subscribing and liking this video.

Ok, new error for 0.26.1.
Reinstall another previous version of sideload and DON'T install Anisette.
I have disabled windows defender, having itunes running, update my iphone and have some free space in it. After a lot of tries yesterday, today that worked for me.

Where did you find an older version? all i could find on their website is 0.26.1

The trick that did it for me was turning off the Defender anti-virus protection. Also, I had to go through the 2-factor authentication twice for whatever reason but I’m not complaining. Again thank you so much for the video and your dedication to helping those with their problems!
Awesome, glad it worked out, it seems to be a different fix for everyone, I’ve tried to compile all the various fixes together hoping to fix all or at least most.
Im not sure what the exact thing was that worked for me; but it was a combination of disabling windows defender, having a previous developer account, having itunes running, trying several times. finally i got to the two factor key pop up and after that i regained Phoenix on my ipad mini1. this ipad is installed in my vehicle as a radio/media unit and had
a battery issue during winter and i lost the jailbreak and the phoenix app kept crashing forcing me to remove the ipad from my vehicle and plug it into my pc. i can use activator again which allows me to control my ipad externally/ off screen.

You need to ensure iTunes is installed and that it can see the device, then ensure that you have authorized your computer in iTunes as well and install and logon to iCloud for Windows. Then connect your phone to your computer using an undamaged Apple brand lightning to USB cable and agree to the popup on your phone when you plug it in to allow the connection.

DIDN'T WORK FOR ME, I FOLLOWED ALL THE STEPS AND NOTHING THERE IS ANY COMMENT BY THE DEVELOPER OF SIDELOADLY, IT WORKED VERY WELL FOR ME BUT THIS WEEK I LOST MY HARD DRIVE ALONG WITH ALL MY INFORMATION AND WHEN I DOWNLOADED EVERYTHING AGAIN THE SIDELOADLY NO LONGER WORKED AND I SAW THAT THIS FAILURE SINCE FEBRUARY
Did you disable Windows Defender Real-time protection?

@@davidvaldez5972 maybe uninstall and reinstall sideloadly, reboot computer and phone, make sue iTunes sees the phone when connected and that the computer is authorized in iTunes.
@@DIY-Nick now the problem is that Sideloadly doesn't download properly it sends me an error and wants to install some library but the download doesn't finish

Error: Guru meditation (random numbers I didn't copy sry) Memory error. I originally thought it was because my phone was full so I cleared up some space but it still didn't work. The thing that fixed it for me was downloading Icloud on the microsoft store, I had previously got the one you download from the web (as sideloadly tells you to). So I had the web downloaded Itunes + Microsoft store downloaded Icloud and this resolved the error. Also the 64-bit version didn't work for me I tried both, the 32-bit version was the only one to work. This was for version v0.50.3.

You need to use a different AppleID
Most often this occurs when your AppleID is/was a paid Apple Developer account or marked as an account for a minor child. Typically using a new non-restricted AppleID resolves the issue.
How would I make a new Apple ID but keep my same one
@@Merxy2Good just use a new one for Sideloadly. If you use gmail you can add a period or multiple anywhere in the address and it will still get to you.

Possibly somebody can help me. I keep getting this error but it says “update iCloud for windows to the latest version to sign in” but it’s update to the most recent version. All other steps have been completed.
people keep saying thbis helped but you didnt do the one thing that would help show to register the phone on itunes
You don’t need to “register the phone” in iTunes, you need to connect it and sign on in iTunes and need to authorize the computer but I don’t know what you mean by registering the phone. People keep saying this helps because for most if does. Not everyone has the same problem but the steps in my video solve many of the common issues.
I've followed all the steps, however whenever I press start after putting in my apple id password, sideloadly closes immediately after pressing start. Can you help? :)
i had this problem to try going to advanced settings and press remote under anisette authentication

Reset your password on the AppleID site

Use an undamaged Apple brand cable and ensure you are using the desktop version of itunes not the MS Store.

@@DIY-Nick So after I did all that, I decided to try a different version of Sideloadly. I uninstalled and reinstalled the 64bit. Worked perfectly. Now if the apps they have wont just crash on the start lol.
