Look I’d take Dame over Tyler but Isaac and Mo were gassing it up like it was egregious. Dame: 25 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 7.5 apg, 43/36/90, Bucks 17-15 with Giannis playing like an MVP Herro: 24 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 5.1 apg, 48/41/85, Heat 17-15 with Jimmy out and Bam having his worst season in years. The MVP is literally the most valuable player. It's not the best player in the league award. This is not me saying who I think should be mvp this year but the fact people don't like the best player on the best teams is crazy to me. Once again I'm not saying who I think should win it but if I'm the best player on my team and we are one of the 3 best teams in the league then I'm probably more valuable than someone putting up great numbers on a mid team. Now there's more to the mvp than just placement but that is supposed to be a huge part of the voting. Now if your team is first place and everyone on the team is pretty balanced and it's done more by committee and a single player then you to the second and third best teams and there best player.
But If you are the best Player of a very good Team with only very good Players, that would be still good without you, youre Not as valuable as If you are the best Player of a middle class Team that would be a very Bad Team without you.

The trade the lakers should make if they want to be real contenders is with the raptors and jazz. They can trade Rui, jhs, jaxson Hayes and 1 second for Bruce brown. Then trade Vando and Gabe with two first rounders for Collin Sexton and Walker. This improves the lakers enough to be on the Celtics, okc and Cavs tier. They basically will be getting a good perimeter defender, athletic guard, who is a great offensive and defensive connector in Bruce Brown. Sexton a 3 level scorer, with a lot of effort defensively. With Kessler he is a needed rebounder and rim protector. The roster would look like Reaves, Sexton, Dfs, Bron and Ad with Bruce, Walker, Max and Knecht/Wood on the bench. If Rob can make these trades happen this can make up for the terrible offseason they had and the lakers would be in a good spot to compete

But none of it matters because they all have to qualify with 65 games played, so again relax
