Medyo mataas yung prices ni Engineer dahil its a business & contractor perspective. Just absorb and digest the knowledge & expertise ni Engineer pero ignore the prices if your on tight budget. Just observe 3 supplier comparison para mas makamura.

Nakukuha ko saan nila hinahango yung mga paninda nila direct from importer/distributor or plant.

Precast kasi casted na, Using cement, sand & Gravita. Hallow ang gitna like the Fiber cement board na feature mu. Size is 100cm x 25cm. no plastering, no grout kapag kinamada. masmatipid sya sa hallow blocks, at masmatibay sya.

This was a great comparison video! Thank you for being the first to do this. But now I have a question for you. If you were going to build a house for yourself, which of these materials would you use? Which material would you feel safest with your family and yourself? Not only for safety but also for the length of life of the material. Please give your thoughts. Salamat

@@suhailalkindy9360 hi. I've also been watching vids about EPS (SRC) panels. EPS is the generic name, SRC is a brand/ company that makes it. The channel of Architect Ed - he is fond of using EPS panels in his projects & he highly recommends it. EPS panels are fast to install & earthquake proof. The issues that I see re: EPS is the availability of supply (the company's HQ is in Manila and you'd have to look for suppliers if you live in the province. Factor in the transport costs too.) Also, the people who know how to use it - not all engineers/ contractors/ foremen would know how tp work with it. They need training to use it, especially when installing the electrical systems in the EPS walls. This is from what I've seen from Architect Ed's vids.

Thank you for the info you are putting out to the public. I am surprised that not too many builders (architects, civil engineers, etc) are familiar with the EPS (SRC) panel system. I am planning on building a small two storey house, and plan on using this. Where can I find the information regarding the foundation requirement, dahil nga walang masyadong gumagamit nito. I will not be utilizing columns nor beams. Another concern is if the foundation is not massive enough, my house could be affected by wind, or flooding. Maraming salamat!

Sir. Ok ang presentation mo very clear and informative. I presumed you consider only a single contractor who has the skills and capabality to construct the 4-types of construction methodology you have presented.

Ya, I liked your quick comparison of types of walls. You missed some important points as additions and fasteners to the roof/door/ windows. You also missed that formwork is quite limited in versatility (changes in floor plan require changes in forms) and has a lifespan even though some can be quite long, must be stored off site between projects, and requires fasteners that have supply issues for low skill workers. Wildly strong compared to others, wildly durable. Formwork that can be used repeatably on any project quickly diminishes the costs of the wall. If your "contractor" re-used his forms 4X on the same project he would have sidestepped the shipping and handling from the home base by 1/4. Smaller casts require smaller crews.
Lets face it hollow block is just a cheap form used many times. It is the size it is because that size is good for many shapes, men can move it cheaply, and it is low skill level to install. Chimpanzees can understand block wall systems. An advantage to a soft wall of low PSI is that you can puncture it simply. You want to hang a shelf or a picture you can get a concrete nail and point it in, 3000PSI large stone concrete might be a large issue.
If you use plastered block, that wall will be fatter, but there is a huge supply of competent workers should you want to remodel.
Your post and beam design selection also did not give cast in place a fair chance as the structural elements of the cast were discounted. Cast walls are "posts" and "beams" all in one. A stem wall would have been wildly lower cost than those spindly posts to the roof and vastly stronger if it tied into the slab on grade on the first floor, and about 1/3 the cost, especially if the contractor cast 3M sections, 2X a day, requiring only 3M of form. If they would have dug the footing very carefully they could have made even greater savings.
Loved your video. Got me thinking.

    TIA Engineer.

Thank you very much for sharing this Smart comparison. Much appreciated. Is it possible for you to add one more estimate, this time using Steel I-Beams for the Columns & Beams instead of Reinforced Concrete? Maraming salamat kung magagawa mo eto. More power to you & your UA-cam channel!
