I recently bought a 2012 E250 and couldn't get the door panels off to replace the speakers, so watched several videos, and yours is the only one that really helped me. Thank you, great video!
It's not that simple the first time but after seeing how it's done here , yes it that's simple . Good to show Glen , great idea and the wheels are turning up here with some great series in mind . LOL
I have a pet peeve about manufactures using different fasteners for the same part. Cross tip and a triple square in your case. But all is all not a bad job. Knowing which direction to tug and pull is key. Thanks Glen.
Ahhh. That door panel fever! I hear that's going around this time of year. ... 😂😂 Yeah, those E & F series vehicles are some of my favorite to work on for interior stuff.... minus anything to do with the doghouse or its removal. 😅😅
Wow, that's alot easier than the old school window cranks with the clips. Had to slide a special tool back there to pop them out ... and hopefully you could find it after it went flying, lol. I'm sure you remember those! Lots of car stereo installs as a teenager got me real familiar with those. Haven't seen a clipped window crank in over 10 years now! Everything's power these days, including my own relics. Doah panel feeevaaaah!! 🤘😁
I have had a few older pickups and cargo vans with manual crank windows come through here in the past couple years. I always have extra clips in stock cause like you said Smitty the go flyin'. Have a good weekend tawkk to yah layta. 😁
Great job Glen! I noticed on this panel that you have to lift up and then out to get the panel off. I've seen people who would pull a panel of this type straight out breaking just about everyone of those clips. If anything for this video, it's good to know that the panel lifts up and then out. Keep up the good work!
The 1/4 drive torx bit I have was too wide at the base that attaches to the ratchet. I need to get a set of the long drive torx bits. @gearwrench where are you? ;-) Thanks man
This is just the video I needed. I am replacing all the locks in 2013 E-250, including ignition cylinder. Any advice or your thoughts you have to make the job easier? (Including, just go to a locksmith if that is better for a novice mechanic.) Thanks again for taking the time to put this information online for us all.
Or in this case when the van comes from an auction and only the ignition and drivers door tumblers work, the other three locks were broken. All 5 on one key now. ;-)

@@ozzstars_cars - Must be just far enough south to buy those vehicles a few more years than up here in MA, I figure.
You too, brutha! 🍻

Absolutely, I've seen and dealt with those panels. 🤣 Thanks Terry
That’s what I do. I give it a Tuggie Tuggie. 😂
Oh yeah, that gets it done for me too.
Glen get the socket type torque bit set. Won’t hurt your hands.

Ozzstar we settled in Vegas. That picture of the vette I sent you was from car consignment wharehouse.

It's easier to write the check sometimes and let someone else deal with the headaches.
Can you make a video for the newer E series with power windows? I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong
Yes if I get one in for repair.
Nice job mate
Thanks
Thanks Leon. No 5.4L V8 E350 Ford Van's in Ireland?
I own a 2007 ford E-450 cab and chassis..
Will the 2011 door panels fit a 2007..?
You'll need to refer to a parts diagram. I do not know.
thanks for the info

So this is how a guy affords a new corvette. I wonder if he’ll be buying a C8.
Who knows what the future will bring?
I've never had to swap locks, I guess it depends on trusting the seller.

How's it going man. Fill me in on SMA's live stream the other night. Did I miss any hot topics?? 😉
Ozzstar Eric didn’t get enough abuse, endorsed channels that aren’t his long term subscribers - usual arsehole jeep owner 🤣😇
I'm an expert at putting my van doors back together. They take themselves apart...
That's living the #vanlife right Matt?
A door??? What about the side passenger door lock
What about it?
Where's the Camry vid?
I don't know what you are talking about. What Camry video?

I hate interior work on the toyotas all.the yellow.clps break it is easier to just buy new ones before you get started and just replace them
That's the best way to do it.
