I am also now buying just indie brands for eye shadow palettes. No doubt, the big names have such beautiful designs such as Dior, Gucci and even this year's Lancome palette - so beautiful, but the shadows just are nothing compared to the indies.
Those highlighters are the first thing I’ve been interested in this entire year. They do look smooth almost blurring 🤗🤘✌️

L'Oreal is owned by Redken, I find their products very similar.
In the early 90s there was a Cover Girl pale pink loose powder. I Loved that powder and bought 2. I used one up completely and still have the 2nd on reserve for use…it’s in perfect condition since it was never opened. And I know that many think and follow the expiration dates- which I call BS on because most pigments do not expire (unless they lose color or smell).
I came here to comment that I had that powder too!
@@stacirea - That powder was so finely milled and if memory serves me, it was 5.99$ - and now like sheep to the slaughter we pay $40+ for a similar product. We are being bamboozled 😜

I almost always watch your videos on Saturday evenings, last night we were at the fair quite late and Momma was TIRED..so I waited to watch today when I had lots of uninterupted time and a nice cup of coffee...oh what a lovely treat over 40 minutes of Tara just giving us ALL the gorgeous swatches. No one does swatches like you Tara and no one gives such great mini reviews with hauls like you :) Those Whats Up Beauty highlighters are absolutely stunning, I know a few people that are going to be getting those for Christmas from me, hopefully if I am able to snag them before they sell out, because for sure they will they are stunning !!! Also..your hair looks GREAT !!

Ulta has purple drops from OGX that you can add into shampoo or conditioner. I’ve been using L’Oréal Le Color gloss in cool blonde. I apply it after shampoo and leave it in for 20 minutes. It really works well (it can turn my hair slightly purple) and my hair feels soft.
My mom uses purple shampoo and it makes her gray/white hair so even toned and pretty.
First thing I do now is check the length of the video before I start! It was so nice to see 40 minutes!!! Still my favorite videos and still get excited for them, but they’ve been so dang short lately that I’ve actually waited til Sunday to watch a few times😮! Blasphemy I know.
I miss the old Maybelline collections of the 2010s. They would come out with the most beautiful curated collections for spring, summer, and fall. Lipsticks, glosses, and Color Tattoos. I too miss the pastel pinks and corals and lavender shade lipsticks. I miss the old days 🥹

Thanks for highlighting the Elvive shampoo/cond line a while back. Everything I’ve tried - including the interesting 8-second rinse product - has been great. I always appreciate any/all recommendations, not just strictly makeup/skincare.
The Covergirl loose powder you showed reminds me of the original CG powder from long ago. It was my first makeup product (just enough dusted to take down the shine) along with a basic black liner. Ahh the old simple days! 🤓

When my hair was to my bum I used a lot of oil but now it’s shoulder length so much less dry at the ends. I need to wash it tomorrow. I love the bondi brand and Olaplex 4 clarifying. I have fantasy colors on non bleached gray/dark blond hair. I have blue and purple to try from bondi to try. Hoping to get my hair colored silver next time to kind of go back to my natural color. 😊
OGX sells purple add in purple drops you can add to your shampoo and conditioner to add more purple.

Fanola no yellow mask. Seems to be the product youre looking for. I use it as a conditioner about once a week (cleanse scalp every day). I can tone most of my hair to that perfect white blonde but have to say give it an extra 5 min and that purple COMES THROUGH! And my hair pulls very warm no matter the amount of bleaching so every other product ive tried just doesnt work.
Oh wow! Those What's up highlighters are stupid gorgeous! I havent seen anyone else mention them yet. I have never bought anything from the brand and this may be the first!

I just got some pieces in PR and was waiting to see what they sent me before ordering and the powders didn't get sent so I need to order them :) When I looked on the website at the ingredients it doesn't appear to be the same formula so I'm very intrigued to try them out
Hi!! I use and love Fanola shampoo for my platinum blonde hair! You only need to leave it in for 1 minute and it does an amazing job. I usually leave it in a few minutes longer so I can get the purple and silver hue, I get lots of compliments when I do that. Thought I would share! ❤

I heard that it's possible to add a bit of cool toned purple dye to the purple shampoo if it isn't quite giving the effects desired.
I so look forward to your videos! Sometimes I even look on Friday night!! When I know very well to look after I get off work Saturday night! Do you have Dollar Tree out there? They sell L.A. Colors, not the biggest selection but I've gotten a great eyebrow pencil, some liners, it varies by store. But its $1.25! They even have like new releases- they had a really nice nude lipstick collection, you may still see some on the rack. Lipliners too. Looking forward to another 40 mins next weekend?!

Hi Tara have been watching you from the beginning from Australia (although it’s a Sunday evening haul for me with the time difference 😂). I usually won’t purchase anything until I get Tara’s opinion on it 😊Can you explain how you wash your brushes with the soap without damaging them? I have the soap but not sure how to do it. Sorry if this is a dumb question. ❤
I just use Luke warm water, get my brush wet and then work the bristles into the soap :) I'm a bit more aggressive with synthetics and more gentle with natural :)
Fallout in not minimal for odens eye. Pretty, mattes great but, fallout is at a maximum.
I go in directly over a primed eye and tap my brush off prior and do not get very much fallout :/

Have you tried the Olaplex blonde sha😅and conditioner? They're PURPLE. They will tint my hair if I leave them on too long.
I haven't tried this one, I always look at how small the Olaplex bottles are and how expensive it is. I would go through them so fast so I think that deters me from purchasing :/
@@Tarababyz -the purple olaplex is larger than those rinky dink bottles. It does leave purplish highlights tho. I am trying the Purple Crush line now- it also leaves me a slight purple cast but doesn’t hold long- maybe a week or so.
@@Tarababyz I find that the shampoos from olaplex tend to be more concentrated than most other shampoos so you actually don't end up using as much.

It was. We were only there for a couple hours because it was a pretty small event and we got all the samples. The bonus to my bf being a vegetarian is I got all the bbq lol but I don’t share whiskey Surprising how good some mainstream whiskies are. I am. It s big beer drinker but works out because there was none. It was supposed to be bourbon, beer, bbq and bacon. I tried beef bacon. It was really good.

I couldn't accept it because I get my hair washed and flat ironed, and this particular shampoo wouldn't have worked for me somehow.

I think the color story of the Odens Eye collab pallets look nice but the collab itself kinda confuses me. I don’t really watch Angelica but she never really came across as someone who cared about Halloween to me. Also I was kinda disappointed they pretty much reused the artwork for her first collab.
