Hello, I've been following your progress, and although it's coming out nice, I think you may have missed a crucial step. -- What is the game about? What is the STORY behind this warehouse? Is there a monster, is there a killer on the loose, is there a ghost, is there a virus contained in one of the boxes? What is the player going to do? Why is the player there to begin with? -- You seem to be creating an environment, but there's no story behind it, so from a level creation standpoint, how do you know what to create? - What you're actually doing is creating "environment art" and then it seems that you're going to wrap a story around it, and call it a game. Not sure that's the best way to go about this, but I'll follow along and see where you take this.
@@boop8670 Oh.... I didn't know that. I thought this was a production series. I thought this was his game. OK, then disregard my comment. It's actually a cool little game, but it lacks a purpose. I think you would get bored just shooting people in the game scene after scene. There would really need to be a "storyline".
0:45 When I watched the headbob video the headbobbing is different to the one you use in this video. Did you change the settings for the current one? if so what are the new ones?
Can you do a madden game tutorial series that goes into depth on how to make one including main menu, shop, cards, mechanics, plays, animation from mixamo, player design, playing rankings (5star system), play stats, etc in unreal?
Please tell us, I am having the same issue! I tried selecting one of the racking, Going to modeling mode, mesh attribute and Mesh to collision but Unreal Engine crashes automatically when I do so!
@ So basically you want to go into the object blueprints that you used or will use and you want to go to the add button then add a box collision, adjust it to what you want or add more. then you have to change the collision type to block all and I think there is one more step but i don’t remember so tell me if this works and if not i’ll look for the last thing. (If it’s a static mesh then go to the upper bar after clicking into the mesh and click collisions then colliders with ALL boxes or etc then go to the details panel and click apply. it should be on the bottom right)
@@PrismX_8 Were you having any issues with the crouch button not working? the code seems to be exactly like he put it but its not working is there a setting i need to check or something I'm a little lost
@@Nax513 just add a box collider to an ai’s blueprint like an ai that you can watch a different tut on, then make it open up a new level when the player collides with the box, and then make it play a specific animation sequence u set up when the level loads
