Rod of ivandis: After the first boss fight meet Vertida in the hideout in Meyerditch, he will give you some notes and talk to you about a weapon. Then you can go back to Burgh de rott, to the hideout under the pub and ask Veliaf to give you the rod
The fastest/easiest way to get to the hideout is to let yourself get caught by a Vyre and get sent to the mines. take you like 30 secs to fill up the cart with ore and you will exit the mines much closer to the hideout and more importantly - on the ground.
Whenever he hunches over for 4-5 seconds straight, he's charging up his special attack that hits you for 30. If you simply run away from him a few tiles when you see him do that, you avoid that hit.
Hahaha I mainly just post my weekly Ironman progression series on here these days as well as my other usual videos, occasionally I do stream on twitch too
was a good guide, but a few fast tacks (shortcuts) instead of running the whole course twice in the beginning, talk to the vampyres and have them send you to the mine, mine 15 ore and talk to the npc to leave, run south until you can just go through the three doors and get to the hideout. and secondly during the final boss fight while you are fighting the guards if you make them stand where you were when he launches the magic bomb it damages the guard for like 19 damage. it happened on accident and thought I would share since you made a remark that it would be funny if it would.
please say directions when referring to objects, instead of "here" especially if you are gonna keep spinning the map . makes it a lot easier for us to follow along by voice and not have to keep stopping and watching you . thanks for the time to make the guide!
i went up to the window and looked it but it said something like there is nothing interesting i went down back and i can no longer climb the rubble , anyone know what i must do?
It would be really helpful to explain how to get the Rod of Ivandis back. Also really helpful to say what items are needed for it. Reading "can be obtained during quest" is really misleading and lead to some mid quest research and out of the way activities.

Man, what great guides... I had to Sins of the father, and you're guides are top tier. Super simple to follow.
Subbed.
Thanks man, glad they’re of use! Welcome the channel 😄

Didn't know that, thanks for the tip!
Do you stream on Twitch? I currently watch Dino but it'd be nice to be able to watch somebody who knows what they're doing for a change.

I was going to put up a guide on how to get the Rod of Ivandis from scratch and how to reclaim it, however the video files unfortunately corrupted
Great guide man!
Thanks man!
Hey! Can I ask how this is an iron man method?
Hi Lex! Well I recorded the video on an Ironman and the teleportation methods are Iron friendly
@@SmithyTV Thanks bud, doing it today on my iron was hoping there wasnt some annoying items to find beforehand or something
It's really only the Rod of ivandis, but that isn't hard to get if you don't already have it
@@SmithyTV had to pick it back up not too long ago for a master clue step so got that one banked, thanks for the replies man appreciate it
You should be all good to go then and no worries! I have a discord server as well if you have any more questions, a lot of active irons on there
thank u very much
You are more than welcome!
Why is the comments section a better guide than this video LOL. So much misguided information.
it's an old video, that area has been updated
@@SmithyTV But the comments are from the same time…. Riiiiight.
lol ur commentary is jokes lad
Haha glad you enjoyed!
Did sins of the father watching your guide aswell lol, legit was creasing at some of the stuff you came out with. Natural comedian.
such a horrible guide tbh
