Hey man, just found your videos- pretty cool!
Some help for you and other fans with our same addiction-
For the best 6.2/6.5 info - free forum thetruckstop.us
    Hummer/hmmwv stuff HummerNetworkforums.com
Listen, the military swaps these engines all the time under 30,000 miles from cracked heads and blocks from overheating. 195-200 normal, 210 watch the gauge more than the road, 220 pull over and let it idle to cool.
On the first forum I mentioned there is a ton of help for cooling.
Do Not go for aluminum radiators. They do worse than the new factory ones. Me and several others had ours rebuilt at Rod’s Radiator in Cali (ship it there and back). He rebuilds it but you need to specify use dimpled cores and make it a 4 core radiator. They do great work, but near $900! But worth it. One of the guys has like 30,000 miles on his hmmwv since the and zero issue.
Also never do the “rear head cooling kits” where they connect rear head passage with hoses together and tie it into various places. Lots y’all can learn there- and maybe some you can share I hope. Better than FB because all the info is searchable and retained permanently. Everything from long life things to some high powered 6.5s.
Have fun man! Keep it up.
    Will.

What type of antifreeze did you end up refilling with? Did you use a recommended ratio for your temp environment or just a 50/50 mix?

We test our antifreeze to make sure the mixture can sustain -40 for our environment. I put traditional green antifreeze in it, because that's what it came with and that's what it's made to run. You could put the newer Dexcool or a different type of antifreeze or after a proper flush, but given the benefits I didn't see any reason to.

My Humvee runs around 215 to 220 Degrees and the Clutch fan comes on but i'm trying to avoid it from getting to these temps. Can you tell me how hot its running after all your services? I'm trying to avoid temps to reach this hot.

About the same. It does a bit better, but a radiator replacement is in order.

Why didn't you show what came out?!

I did in a previous video where I cleaned the heater core! Didn't think it needed repeating.
