This is one of the coolest and most atmospherical areas in the game. (spoiler ahead) seeing it transform into a hot, arid, sunny landscape after you release the dam was one of the most amazing things ever. I miss the old, dark rainy ambience ever since the change, though. Can't wait to replay this part.

I think you are talking about Crestwood, where you meet up with Hawke. The fallow mire where this video takes place doesn't transform. Glad I'm not the only one who likes Dragon Age!!

Oh man I mixed them up! You are right. But what is seen on the video seems very similar to initial version of Crestwood to me, with that weather and grassy stone hills. I think I know which one is Fallow Mire now, has to be the swampy area.

I think this is my most favourite area in DA:I. It seems so much more linear and compact - a quality that makes it much less daunting than any of the other areas such as the Western approach or the Emerald graves. I am glad that they'll be returning to this type of style in DA4, more story and character focused :)

Weird. Ive played through the Fallow Mire 3 or 4 times since this games come out and I cannot recall once seeing lightning strike the ground like that. Pretty cool atmospheric effect

Pretty cool until you or a party member gets struck lol or have rocks fall on you on the Storm Coast.
