From Passenger van to motorhome/Campervan, do you need to get JPJ approval??

Nice campervan setup Capt. But I got a few questions.
1. How much you bought the van? 1st or 2nd hand?
2. How much did you spend for the setup? Send to a garage or DIY?
3. Between this van with Mercedes Sprinter and Ford Transit. Which better?

CAPT Nik bought his Maxus second hand for 80K did it up for 40K, carpenter did the woodwork. Sprinter is the best but so is the price.

Welcome :) Capt Nik bought a panel van and converted it to passenger. Yes you have to go to JPJ to do that.
