Nice looking car, enjoy! I own 2 slingshots, both Pontiac powered. 1 is a 1962 113" cackle car resto and the other is a 'modern' AA/FD 225" Love slingshots
In 1975, a 1963-built front engine dragster dropped in my lap. With a complete rebuild (Buick engine and Ford truck trans discarded), it became a self-starting SBC , powerglide B/Econodragster. The trans was built as a race unit, the engine wasn't, but got my feet wet, Two years later, I had a converted AA/FD car with a well-built 302 Chevy, meaning I ran the next-lower class, C/ED. And I ran a best 9.35, not far off the index. Which has me wondering about a Big Block car nearly fifty years later only 4 tenths quicker.
Raced one of these in the UK back in the 70s. You're sitting there with all your most important body parts sitting on top of a large rotating piece of steel. I was young and stupid back then.
These look like the dragsters from the 60s and early 70s. The "nostalgia" dragsters in the NHRA series are nothing like the old days, except the engine is in front.
Looks like a fun day .old cars that are still cool.just having fun
Nice to see these retro racers
really can't beat the "music" of a big block Chevy !!!
long live America & Drag Racing 🤠
💯 🇺🇸 🤟
Simply Awesome!!! Love the old front engine rails Thanks for sharing them with us.😎💥 Happy New Year 💥💯
Thanks you too!

Very cool!
Love the RAILS😊
Loved the beginning when the car was rocking with the lumpy cam and loping idle. Cool dragster. Love the slingshots.
love that sound
Proud to be an American
I rode the same bus to school as this guy Buddy Webb.
Had no idea Davin had a front engine dragster,... the other car looks like a handful.

Yes it was built to resemble the nostalgia ones. 👍
Announcer sounds as though he has a clothes pin on his nose. Weird man. Cool slingshot rail.
He's actually a great accomplished announcer. I'd have to relisten to it again to see what your referring to but yeah the fed is cool! 👍
Nice dragster. Can I have it?
For the right price I'm sure he'd sell it.
@@RACEYOURRIDE Ah, there’s always a catch 😛
Why have wheelie bar up so high like that? Just likes doin wheelie's i guess 🤷
Thats a good question 🤔 but the dude definitely puts on a show right!
Can anyone here put me in contact with King Chassis?
Not sure but check this place out www.chassisfarm.com/chassis-info/
The announcer needs to shut up! ,I could care less whos driving! I want to hear the engine
At times alot of repeatitinness but it can be boring without a good announcer like Randy Simpson.
