- In the latest episode of Beyond the Headlines, all eyes turn to the Kuala Kubu Bharu (KKB) by-election, where the team examined voter sentiments and party strategies.
Political analyst Dr. Azmi Hassan joined the discussion with host Amalina Kamal to provide insights into the trends of voters.
We also featured the team's ground reports of the campaign trails taking place in KKB led by News Editor Hazween Hassan. They shed light on the candidates’ activities ahead of polling day set on May 11.
Separately, the nation rejoiced when Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's announced more than 13 per cent increase in civil servants' remuneration is set to take effect from December 1st.
Economist Emeritus Professor Dr. Barjoyai Bardai discussed the economic viability, potential social benefits and the importance of fair treatment of workers in line with the Madani concept.

They are going in the same direction as greece and sri lanka. They are aware of it. Those two countries crumbled into bankruptcy some time ago but politicians see votes as more important. Steering the country in the right direction is second priority.

Anwar and his team already got the vote of civil servants because of the salary hike. Hopefully, the private sector employees would do the opposite, since the people's money have been used to pay these inefficient low quality lazy civil servants (most of them).
