It's probably bc of their hair color, they can't put a purple cat for Mafuyu but they can make it a black cat. Mizuki's fur has a pinkish undertone similar to her hair, Ena's is brown, Kade is white with blue undertones, and Meiko's is her hair color but slightly lighter (probably to not make her copy Ena's)
