I love tea, but I don’t really like anything in my tea other than shortbread Although my mum once dipped toast in tea, so I would say, it doesn’t go for everyone, but definitely the majority
This is unfairly stacked against the British. If you're having the bears for Australia, you should CLEARLY be using animals from cadbury's for the UK. Those actually are an even match up.
EvParaPanic! 🖤🎶🖤 yep my house mate doesn’t like the store made ones but ate my Nan’s home made ones in fact me my husband and my house mate ate a tin in like 2 days
Lol! ... They got the cheapest possible store brand versions of the Custard and Bourbon creams. The kind you can pick up two big multipacks for a quid.
For those who don't know the story of the ANZAC biscuits, basically soldiers' wives and children made them during WW1 specifically the war of Gallipoli when the Australian New Zealand (they are also kiwi btw) Army Corps (ANZAC) went to battle together against Gallipoli (which is in turkey) and ANZAC biscuits were traditionally made without eggs, so they wouldn't go off so they could make them and send them to the soldiers in Gallipoli. Unfortunately though, Gallipoli was not captured by the Aussie and Kiwi forces and we commemorate it on the 25th of April
Anzac biscuits were invented by Aussie / NZ Mothers during the war , limited ingredients available , then sent to their sons overseas who were in the war. Sort of a care package and love from home.
We drink biccies and tea too, I have it every night here in Australia. Not the shortbread cream and Kingston but my favourites are Teddy Bear biscuits (Arnotts) dipped in tea mmm yummy
I live in the UK now (originally from Australia) and this is my take on biscuits: Australia absolutely WINS when it comes to chocolate-covered biscuits. I’ve never tried anything in England that comes close to a Tim Tam, Mint Slice or a Royal. The UK makes great plain biscuits like Digestives and Hobnobs - I really love Hobnobs and the milk chocolate Digestives, and Lotus Biscoff. But Australia still holds my heart for jam-filled biscuits like the Jam Fancies and Raspberry Shortcake. I don’t really care about cream sandwich biscuits like Custard Creams or Bourbons though, so I can’t compare them to Aussie biscuits.
only once??…. I’m pretty sure one of the questions in the citizenship exam is they just give u a packet of Tim Tams, start a 20 minute timer and if there’s anything left when it runs down they call it a fail and say come back when you’re ready to be an Aussie
I think that one bad thing about Australian biscuits being creamy is that because Australia is a very hot country especially in the summertime, that the chocolate and cream on the biscuits will melt and become all sticky and disgusting in the wrapper
Anzac biscuit ingredients were send to soldiers as care packages so they can make them themselves because they don’t contain eggs and milk (they’re made with flour coconut meal and golden syrup)
Always thought of that as a British term. Didn't even realise Aussies said it too. Don't know why the English guy acted like he'd never heard it. It's pretty commonly used in the UK.
Does the rest of the UK not do that timtam straw thing with kitkats and a cup of tea???? Guys you’re missing out, can also be done with a breakaway, a twix or something else! I live for doing it, I’m from UK???
Home made ANZAC biscuits are always better :) Idk why, but the store bought version is always so hard?!? Home made are always big, yummy and chewy.... best eaten when they're cooling down.... so still slightly warm, mmm 😍🙌
I love a bourbon and tea or milk. I don't get the hobnobs, I get the milk chocolate oaties instead as they work better with coffee. Penguins are delicious especially the mint ones.
Bourbons are my favourite biscuit. Think my pet peeve on this video is when they moan about the biscuit being dry! Frigging dunk it!!!!! Custard creams/bourbons etc all better dunked.
I watched another buzz feed video and they had in Australia caramello kangaroos dairy milk they are the EXACT SAME AS DAIRY MULK FREDDO CARAMEL OMFG STOP COPYING US yes I have had it before
Okay where are the best I’m biscuits and why are they not in there: Jaffa cakes, jammy creams, choc digestives (better than hobnobs!), foxs choc!!! Honestly what is happening!!!
Hobnobs are the same as the Chocolate Wheatons in Australia. A proper ANZAC biscuit will destroy both. ANZAC biscuits are not rock hard. That's terrible. What brand did you use so I know to avoid them. ANZAC biscuits should have a chewie element, that's the whole point of the Golden Syrup.
O..... M.... G..... There are Australian's present and they still didn't do the slam part of the Tim Tam Slam. It's not all about drinking a hot liquid through your Tim Tam. It's all about slamming the melting Tim Tam into your mouth before it completely liquefies all over your hand. I'm disgusted!!!
ANZAC biscuits were sold during the war to to help fund for the soldiers. ANZAC stands for Australia New Zealand Army Corpe. New Zealand ANZAC biscuits are better than Aussie ones.
I find it iroic that the one of the Ozzy's said that the English chips would be a B grade version of theirs even tho Australia entire population was built by the old inmates of Britain's.
I think the reason why biscuits from the UK are so dry is so that they can all be dipped in tea
Lola sometimes pople in briten like me dreink coffy and borbons are the best biscutes ever
IKR IM from UK AND EVERYTHING IS WITH TEA XD
I was gonna say that but yu did it for me
Lola
I’m form the UK I hate Tea! In my opinion and no I’m not English im Scottish
I love tea, but I don’t really like anything in my tea other than shortbread

Sheree Jones That’s awesome. I’m the same when I make them cause they are so soft 🤤
Oh absolutely
Kayla Murphy
Made with lots of butter and golden syrup 🤤
I made them every year when I go to the footy!
Totally shop bought ones are too hard
Maybe if they didn’t get morrisons own brand biscuits we would have won 😂
Lol! ... They got the cheapest possible store brand versions of the Custard and Bourbon creams. The kind you can pick up two big multipacks for a quid.
They used crappy choices for most of ours also aha, I'm sure both of us have much better to offer as I know we do.

"UK biscuits are so dry." Um you can use that super dense Aussie biscuit to build a functional WWII air raid shelter.
peter has to be from uk, i think they made a mistake
Jake Land Victoria no coz the other girl was talking bout how she’s australian and stuff
Also I think they had Tom and Laura mixed up, because I was so confused there
never heard Arnotts referred to as the biscuit mafia before... but i like it
With the tiny teddies we used to arrange them into our families.
It was cute, until we ate them and you would eat your least favorite 1st
And then someone would ask for one and you’d only have your favourites left lol
All the Aussies are saying that British biscuits are dry as hell but that’s why we have them with tea
We drink biccies and tea too, I have it every night here in Australia. Not the shortbread cream and Kingston but my favourites are Teddy Bear biscuits (Arnotts) dipped in tea mmm yummy

Love the guy ‘’biscuit mafia family’’
That guys Australian accent sounded more Australian than the actual Australians
These videos always make my day and I love these! Thankyou for all the efforts you put in to making these always makes me laugh
Our biscuits are dry because they are made for dipping in tea and coffee that’s why. You hydrate the biscuits WITH the beverage

I think that one bad thing about Australian biscuits being creamy is that because Australia is a very hot country especially in the summertime, that the chocolate and cream on the biscuits will melt and become all sticky and disgusting in the wrapper
Homemade ANZAC biscuits with a cup of Bushells tea is an Australian staple!
Every English biscuit is made to go with tea
The scotch finger biscuits also have a choc chip version.

Penguins and Tim Tams are the same recipe, but Penguins were invented 2 years beforehand.

I know the guy who came up with the idea of jokes on penguin bars
Elliot Rook well I hate and love him
We have hobnobs and custard creams in Australia, at least in Brisbane
yh we gad most of them
that's like saying we have Hersheys in the UK. It doesn't make it less American, same with the British biscuits in Aus ;)
I was having a pretty terrible night but after seeing her tim tan fall into the milk.. cheered me up a bit 😂 and then the biscuits wiggle at the 😆 👍
Why are there biscuits so flat?
Tim tams are the bomb 🥺really feels like having one right now

Were they the same cheap store own-brand versions, like they used in this 'taste test' video? Lol!
They’re from Waitrose so their not the cheapest but I guess it qualifys as a supermarket/store
Bourbons are the best biscuits full stop.

Honestly i love both, penguins and tim tams. You can slam them both. But i wish that i could buy penguins stacked not individually packed.
I don’t know why but I ship Hanifah and Peter

Tom is from the UK. They put the wrong flag front of his name.
it would be like wet cardboard😂😂
You dont drink milk through your penguin, you use tea so it melts, blasphemy!!!
