The best workworking channels are the ones like this. Just a quiet but very talented person in their basement/garage not spending half the video talking. Just making stuff.
I’ve said this before….not only do these videos result it masterpieces of craftsmanship….but every single time, I’m overwhelmed by the patience you have for these marathon builds.
I'm still checking out your earlier videos, Jason. I'm not in the best of health and I'm an old codger too, so to be able to just lounge and be relaxed and amazed by your creations is a real treat. This is so clever, original and beautiful, and it's the first time I've seen your ingenious way of drawing straight lines on an uneven surface parrallel to the ground. Thanks for the great entertainment, Ray.
My husband said you must be feeling awfull when somebody throws a piece of scrapwood on the stove. Indeed it can be used for beautiful things. Awesome work as always. thanks for sharing.
Our boys, 3, 5 and 7, love your videos. Thank you so much for putting out videos where we don't have to worry about bad language or bad images...and we love their growing enjoyment of craftsmanship.
Even though I don’t really like this kind of rough rustic like furniture it’s amazing the versatility of this guy’s skills. I mean, he now go to the artistic rustic wood working kind of furniture. It’s just awesome the things this man can do.
@@sanskrutadhotre9799 Of course I'm learning evry time Example like cross cut it wasn't coming perfect with me but with more cuts at the end i found it get perfect

I like the foundations of the table. The base of the table coming together was my favourite part of the video. Always liking your work. It would fit a good seaside home.
Very cool construction. I like both the top and the bottom, although I'm not sure, they really suit each other quite perfectly. I would love to see the bottom part combined with a glass top, so you can really see, how unusual it is.
That is terrific, again I picked up tricks and tips from your video. Never though to clamping a marker to a square or board to get a similar reference across a project. Gold
Amazing Jason! Scribing log cross sections???...the traditional techniques, basic materials and 'up cycle' ticket-charm of your videos belie ur genius. Great work. Thanks!
As always with you, this is also excellent work. Very few people have mastered this technique, which is also used when building wooden houses with very long and thick tree trunks. You are particularly good at it. But it also takes a lot of patience and time. I thought this would be a table I could make myself. Well, let's see. In Germany, in the Black Forest, you would get the nickname Holzwürmle. In other words, woodworm belittled. I have now watched almost all of your videos. I'm really impressed by your super good work. Thank you very much
we put the paint on.. we sand the paint off... excellent rustic look.. you have a great eye for color.. it brings to mind a raft on the clear blue waters...
Jason, what can I say? There is a saying, "It's not the fiddle, but the fiddler'. A true craftsman, or artist if you will, can make anything without the "best" of tools and you sir have shown that to be true. The improvising that you do, i.e. the weights to flatten boards, a tri square marking gauge and so on proves that you don't have to have Festool or Saw Stop to turn out great work. All it takes is a vision and you can see a lot better than most people. Thank you so much for sharing and giving inspiration to those of us who are seeking that vision.
You’re absolutely right there, buddy. I hope people take inspiration from Jason and get started making. The man keeps using pot noodle pots for glue and paint... You have to love it. Side note, there’s your next t-shirt @EpicUpcycling - a pot noodle with pot noodle written on it but the noodle crossed out and o’ paint added instead. Ha! I feel obliged to add that I hate Festool though.

And no shit music blaring away in the background either 👍
Your inventiveness in on another level! Only matched by your engineering and wood working chops. I can (and do) watch your videos over and over again.
Thanks Lars, I really appreciate the comments.
That scrap wood is used that could have ended up as land fill, makes this the best wood working channel on UA-cam.
Thanks very much :)
@@EpicUpCycling ...not to ignore your mad joinery skills!
This table built was amazing. I could never have imagined how such precision could be applied to a log.
The Steven King of wood working ;)
My favorite part was clamping the sharpie to the square so you know how to make the branch level. That was pretty cool
You’re a wizard with wood. It’s the only reasonable explanation
Thanks :)
Watching this is like meditation. Amazing to watch a master at his craft!
Thanks Colin :)

Actually, this comment was meant for the pallet wood chest build. But before I could push post, my feed quickly advanced to the coffee table build.

Imagine being ship wrecked, on a desert Island with this guy. You'd 'surviving' in a 6 bedroom mansion, by the end of the month! :-)
Indeed
🤣
He is probably a superb cook, too…
If he had his planer, a chisel, and a hand drill, absolutely!

His painting the green reminded me of Bob Ross painting trees :)
Funny you should say that, Erik. I had Bob's happy little trees in my head while I was painting :)
I started off thinking this was just another glued together coffee table, ended up subscribing and open mouthed in admiration.
