Hazy i bet there would be 100's if not 1,000's of people who would love to go on a camp with you and Joey D. Why dont you organise a weekend of camping and fun for all your subscribers. Rent some land and toilets with running water. maybe some of your subscribers can supply music entertainment even food stalls. There could be bush craft guys demonstrating. Obviously make a weekend charge to everyone. I think it could be unbelievably popular.
I used this pack last year walking the Caminho from Lisbon up to SDC. 11 weeks & 1000km. That rear mesh pocket is amazing! The only part that failed was the bungee cord at the top of the mesh pocket… It wasn’t very waterproof but i used a lifeventure 55L drybag/packliner which was. 6kg pack weight including tent & I wouldn’t hesitate to use again! I wish they made a 36L & 27L also as I’d buy! I read about the hip belt stitching fail before i bought but i had no issues & nothing but praise for the cost of this pack.
It's a fantastic bag I've had mine a year now and it's totally changed my long distance hikes I'm basically walking around with 7kg it's makes everything so easy for me
Just fyi: unless they've upgraded it since I bought one, the material is waterproof. The pack is not, as the seams are not taped. Pack liner is a good bet for stuff you wanna guarantee is dry at the end of the day. I proper rate them tbh. Only issue is they only do one size (unless that's now changed), which is why I now use summat else (I have a long torso, apparently). Wife's has taken a bit of abuse and is still going. She loves it.
I have had one of their bivvy tents for the last few years its really well made and weighs next to nothing. I ordered from their website it came in just over a week, and they notified all the way through. I would definitely order from them again
I did the Coast to Coast with one of these! Great bag if you're trying to keep things light. Wasn't the most waterproof though, so needed a liner and a cover too, but it was a fraction of the weight of my Osprey.
Just sent in for the raffle, would be a dream to come away with you and the D mister flex. I've got two kids and sadly not had many chances to fly the nest. This wouod be a beauty of a chance to get back to camping. Love you long time J dawg
Buying a cheap waterproof 50l bag off Amazon. Going for my first solo camping trip in next couple weeks, hoping weather stays dry but will be good to test in some rough weather for future reference! Loving your vids bossman 👌
It’s a good budget light weight pack. But I do find mine a little awkward and gets a bit uncomfy after a long distance hike . Not a patch on my gossamer. But a great way to get into light weight gear .
I had that exact one, the shockcord on the back instantly tore off from the stitching and the fabric isnt water proof, it's water resistant though. I've seen issues with the belt tearing at the stitching but I didn't see that on mine. For the price, it's not bad but I wouldn't trust it for multi day backpacking or thruhiking. I am also spoiled because I own a hmg backpack.
That looks like a very close copy of the ULA Circuit, including the material style and colour options. That is an unbelievable price given the Circuit is almost £300, although Circuit does have a much better back support.
Hi m8 me and son bought 2, not same model but same materials packs ok but net mesh on both ripped out near enough straight away the only let down, it needs a better stretch type mesh👍
I have 2 of the older models as they sent me the wrong color and had to fix their mistake. They didn’t want the other back. It’s not too fancy, functions well for my hikes and backpacking trips. It folds and fits well in my suitcase if I travel by plane so no straps getting caught in baggage belts. I usually stick my essentials in a trash bag and use it to pack out trash later. The zippered mesh, I was told, can hold a water bag if you don’t use bottles. Mine also has straps so it can clip to sides and not just to each other. It’s comfortable. Mine has elastic at the top of the mesh. I would prob buy again if I didn’t have the extra already.
Hazey, you’re amazing. Love your channel big time. Would you consider reviewing the Naturehike insulated sleeping pad? It claims a massive 5.8 r value which makes me seriously narrow my eyes considering its price point. Would love to know what you think. You’re the man!
One quick question for you. I had a quick look at them online, and from what I can tell. They say that the waist strap is 28". Surely, that can't be right. I was considering purchasing one. But there's no way that would get around my waist. Lol
Hopefully they have sorted out the hip belt connection to the bag … according to Mikes long term review of this bag at ‘Novice Wild Camper’ the stitching at those points start coming apart …. But that was an older version …. And actually even if they do start coming adrift a few stitches with some strong thread will have it sorted as good as new-ish…. Still a great buy for 70 quid though … thanks for the review 👍👍
Novice Wild Camper did a second video about the hip belt issue. They improved the design (basically more stitching), sent it to him, he said he used it for 12 months no issues.
I was in two minds which pack to get, this or the Naturehike Rock 60+5l, I went for the Naturehike as it only weighs slightly more (probably the same when you add the mat to the 3F UK) but has a frame... I'd love you to do a comparison (fight fight fight) vid. Cheers. Gary
man, that looks a whole lot like my exped 60. but with more pockets, and a third of the price. I mean I'm not gonna run out and replace it coz it ain't broke, but when the time comes ..
Had one of these for the Skye trail, Rob Roy Way & Affric Kintail Way Pros. Very big bag, love the stretchy outer back mesh pocket. Great for cramming stuff in. Good side and hip pockets. More than enough space to take all your gear. Having your roll mat as a 'frame' is a great idea allowing you to keep it out the way and also feels like your wearing a pillow on your back. V comfy, You can buy accessories such as a shoulder mounted water holder. Also inner zip pouch is handy for storage. Cons. Very poor quality, not waterproof, 3 long distance walks covering a few hundred miles over 2 weeks of constant use and the pack is falling apart. Several buckles are burst, shoulder strap buckles loosen on their own and require constant retightening which is v annoying. The roll mat as the frame is also a con as it leads to the sweatiest back I've ever had. 0 breathability. Stick to osprey exos. Much better! Would I buy again? No. You get what you pay for. But I can't fault my lanshan 2 pro. Would I use it again? Day hike? Max. Another quality vid from Hazey. Just a shame the bag doesn't have the same quality. Big bag manufacturers could pick up a thing or 2 from studying this though.
Second this one. I had one of the old 40+15 for a while. The buckles loosening all the time seems like a minor detail, but drove me mad, the main reason I didn't want to use it anymore. I spent 3 times the money on a quality bag and haven't looked back since.
Like it! However, being of a larger frame - a fat knacker - my kit takes up a lot of space in a pack. The weight soon mounts up and the bag becomes uncomfortable over long continuous walking on a long distance footpath. The makers do not cater for individual back sizes. It is not for everyone.
I had one from them, before it was branded Qidian, just the old 40+16 one, their joke of a hipbelt was rubbish and just ripped off the main body of the pack after 100 km. It's fine without a belt though. Looking at the new one I think it may suffer from the same problem. I wonder if they reinforced the hip belt "wings" somehow or it's the same old construction.
Bloody hell , £72 for an 880 gr pack and a great idea to stash the mat at back as a frame and sleeping mat . My little Atompack only holds 40 litre Being Chinese its going to fall apart with heavy use . Your Lansham is a load of crap but its cheap ..and nasty lol .I m a Durstan follower and they are made much stronger. I doubt the bag will stand all day heavy rain, theres waterproof and water resistant .Cheap way to fully waterproof it is to paint it with silicon mixed with thinners. Loads of youtube stuff on this
I got the same one.. It is NOT waterproof. Trust me. I seam sealed everything in a 2hr effort. It might be close to waterproof now, but it's definitely not when you buy it. Soaked Just so you guys know
"Fully waterproof so you don't need a bag". Really? Did you test it or just take the manufacturer's word for it, please? HINT: I have one - it's water resistant not waterproof.

More helpful things that i don't need, but now I'm going to get it anyway. Thanks Haze 😊

Loving the jumper vibes mate.
Had my one a couple of year now love it for what it’s aimed at . Nice to see some other getting into it now ! 🙌🙌
I really hope they paid you for how much love you're giving this product
Oooo! I am going to have to show my Honey Bunches. Thanks for the review.
I did the Coast to Coast with one of these! Great bag if you're trying to keep things light. Wasn't the most waterproof though, so needed a liner and a cover too, but it was a fraction of the weight of my Osprey.
waterproof is almost always a lie. the only hiking gear that's proper waterproof is the bin bag.
Just sent in for the raffle, would be a dream to come away with you and the D mister flex. I've got two kids and sadly not had many chances to fly the nest. This wouod be a beauty of a chance to get back to camping. Love you long time

If i weren't so skint from lack of work through winter, i would most definitely be grabbing one of those.
Got the older in blue a few years ago and its been great.

Always entertaining but Harry Enfield…bloody genius Paul 🤣
would love to see you do a proper overnight march with this
Its a nice looking sack, ive seen a few vids on it with mixed reviews. I'd give it a whirl 👍🏻
It is a very good bag but I found it very sweaty even with the z lite.
just bought this pack to do the pennine way in june, also bought the lanshan 2 pro, i cant wait
Nice review Mr Haze 👍. That is a BARGAIN & more 😀
Nice, I’ll be picking up one of these for a bug out bag.
That looks like a very close copy of the ULA Circuit, including the material style and colour options. That is an unbelievable price given the Circuit is almost £300, although Circuit does have a much better back support.
Word of warning you do need a cover as all my gear got wet and i had a soggy wild camp, maybe ok for showers but not for driving heavy rain .
Nice one, Hazey. I was looking for a new bag! ❤

Can't wait to hear what you think of it long term.

Oh nice!! That would go nicely on a hammock Camp 👍
what's the difference between this one and the first cheaper version?

Ive had a failure on the stitching coming apart - its a pity as i love the bag and used it on an 8 day walk / campon SWCP
Yeah I've seen the same issue. The way the hipbelt is attached on these isn't really the best method for longevity.
Novice Wild Camper did a second video about the hip belt issue. They improved the design (basically more stitching), sent it to him, he said he used it for 12 months no issues.
@@venkatinator … yeh i know Mike did a later review … and they beefed up those areas … thanks 👍👍
Hi mate great video…a separate question…where’s your jumper from?
Wonder if the Vaucluse ventilation frame would work with it?
Nice backpack Hazeo!
Throw in some flights from Australia and away we go!!
Ahh might get one, where did you order from? Cheers
Have to ask, where'd ya get that snazzy sweater?
Have you come across a rack sac with a suspension system yet ?
does whistle double as snorkel? dealbreaker 😊

200 hundred they want for lecky this month. I cnt justyfy it. Is there a cheaper option with the same qualaties.

Theres loads of models. Which one is this? Not seen any for £72 either. Likely hiking the prices up following your review.

No, but you can use a boyish scot to pound it

Tonight is sorted then 🎥
no product link for the bag, got mine from Aliexpress for just over £50.00.

Is there a link to buy one?

Mine wasn’t waterproof after all. Found out as soon my down sleepingbag was saturated
Are the seams tapped, as you said it is waterproof?
Cheers. I thought not, hence my question.
30 centimeters length!! oo-errrr
Got to say that looks bobbins mate .
wow if only we cud of seen it
Looks decent that kidda
Looks like a good bag. Sadly, I got a new one from Christmas
If someone won the gear but didn't want to do the wildcamp could they give that part of the prize to another contestant? Or you choose one at random?
similar as AtomPack
that looks EXACTLY like my Atom pack... if it were black
You need specific back length for this bag
Looks like you’re giving some tart in gingham and fishnets a piggy back home.
