if you liked the vibe of stalker definately give metro exodus a try, its made by a lot of the devs who made stalker and is a much more modern experience, that said its a lot more linear and story focused than stalker

Hey Josh, I've never played Valheim but the "big tree" is probably Yggdrasil, the immense ash tree that connects all 9 realms in Norse mythology.

Stalker has incredible mods that bring it inter the modern era a bit.
Maybe instead of counting from top or bottom you can do random number of scrolls of pages too. Like you can just click page down like 80 times etc.
