I swear, every single episode has at least one moment that brings me close to tears. This was just really heartwarming, especially when Shirase saw that Mari followed her on her adventure.
Same. Also balanced with making me smile every episode too. When I finished the show as a whole, I later found I could be emotional toward many other things, in and out of the context of the show and anime altogether. I'm convinced it awoke my emotions. 20/10 would watch again
@@kindredwings , same here. Not often a work of fiction can have that effect on me. Actually, this show was the catalyst for me "coming out" as an Anime fan, and I don't regret it! :)
This is still one of the only series that I think is absolutely perfect. The characters were well thought out and each had their own arcs, the music was incredible, the visuals were gorgeous, the plot was simple but extremely touching and told a story that had never been told before. It was such a wonderful journey
Well. So did I but there are anime series that have really good music (both theme songs and original soundtracks) but terrible storyline. (I’m looking at you: Glasslip)
This show reminded me of the trips i've done so far, about the sights i wouldn't have seen otherwise and how important it is for people to keep broadening their horizons. Visited Japan for the first time in 2015, already planning my second visit to tour the Seto inland sea by motorcycle. Can't wait to go back to this awesome country!
It may sound silly but when I recently went to Japan as I was making it off the plane it was kokokara the first thing that pop into my head, I could almost hear kimari saying I’m really going on a journey
Ufficially in my top 10 anime Ever seen, tears and happines at the same time. An ispirational and emotional anime that bring you directly to a place further that universe: "our emotions and feelings". This is a good reason to get a crunchyroll Premium account, do you want to go to antartica with Me?
@@darlhiatt8136 Okay, maybe I should put this another way: The expressions on their faces make it look like the most expensive thing ever. For young teens, $13 shouldn't be THAT expensive unless their allowances are REALLY low or just non-existent.

Close? What do you mean for close, guys? My eyes got wet every episode and i lost all my body's water on episode 12, like a man
@@Strap89 That ending killed me, I never would have believed a computer, not turned on for 3 years, receiving e-mails would do that to me.
Same!!!!
This was the scene that made me fall in love with the show
Justin Okraski yeah i know, that moment this song starts playing and you realize this show is pretty good
Justin Okraski same
Shirase's beautiful smile told me this was going to be special.

The moment I heard this ending theme, the moment I KNEW...that this show was going to be something special.
What a coincidence. Me, too.

This anime is literally one of the best anime in existence. It's so sad that it's really underrated at times
It made The New York Times’ list of best shows of the year when it came out, so it got some recognition at least.
It's wonderful how much emotion can be conveyed with minimal dialogue as the theme music plays over their travels. It was a near-perfect series.

BREAKUP REJECTED!
God this anime is so good. It inspirses me to do what I dream of doing.
Be sure to hydrate yourself while watching this one. Lot of laughter and lot of tears. 100% worth it
2:09 : So cute
2:20 : *loud crying*
What a catchy, witty, sensational anime!

This anime is so good
i love this show so much
I really loved this show I forced myself to watch only one episode a day to try drag it out. Why must it be so short! I need a season 2!
yeah same 1 ep turned into 13 episodes for me in one night haha.... maybe just like an OVA episodes..??
The journey is over, there's no need for another season. If people are interested in any after stories then a single ova episode will do
This show is so well made. I love it.
This seen is absolutely Breath Taking and made me choke up

Amy remember this music video "On You Mark" by Ghibli and Change&Asks ? I found similarity between this clip and that music video.
The start of a great journey
Awesome A Place Further Than the Universe Video.
I couldn't fulfill my goals when I got this scar I need time
yhe im cryin again
1:20 Am I reading those prices wrong or using the wrong currency? Isn't that only like $13 in the U.S? Why do they see it as super expensive?
$13 is expensive bruh
They're high school kids, right? 13 bucks is plenty expensive in that frame.

If they were expecting 6 dollar fast food.. but maybe they're just being dramatic.
Cuz that $13 is a plenty of money if u go in japan
Aduh, terlena aku terlena
