Oh Christine, I love how you start with one idea and discover another idea as you go along...So often I have an idea for a card in my head and what I end up with is a long way from what original idea that I had in my head...LOL!...thank you for adding so much to my days with your humor and card designs.
Another useful tip to add to my collection from Chez Chris. I've never heard of Double sided foam, never mind putting it through a die cut machine! Never too old to learn new tricks! I do love the finished card. Thank You.🦋
awesome card Christine and fabulous reminder of that A4 sheets of double sided foam laying unused in the drawer, ha ha guess whts coming out Thanks pet x
I so enjoy your creative process and change your mind as you move along. Fun to watch. I can’t believe how small your work space is. Almost makes me claustrophobic. 😆
Thanks Christine. It will be lovely which ever way you make it. I have had the pack of sticky foam on my desk for a few weeks now. You have shown me how good it is. So I have a Memory Book to make for my Grandaughters Baby so may try it then. xxxxx
I was thrilled to find double sized adhesive foam sheets. I have several somewhat intricate cover dies that would be near impossible to pop up with foam squares and it saved me so much grief and I also like using it sometimes for sentiments, especially the skinnier ones. It looks like this card will be super simple but it's very, very attractive.
Foam sheets are very handy when you want to raise something up. I've just never thought to use a piece to pop up one letter like you did with the seal card. That is just a great idea. Hugs, Brenda
What a clever idea. I have the same foam sheets but I’ve never thought of using them in that way. Thank you for making the crafting life a little bit easier. - Dawn 🌅
Just looked at the community page and the card is very nice. Regarding giving cards and die cujts dimension, I think that practice and patience really is important here. I find it takes me longer to do this than the rest of the card as I have fairly large hands and I struggle with the little things. You cannot rush at this point and thank you for your time and humour
Hi. When I have crafting dilemmas like that I usually end up with several variations of the same card until I've exhausted all possibilities that I can think of for it or I just run clear out time and it's usually the latter.😂 Your card is going to be so very pretty, square or no square, and you've given me heaps of ideas! Thank you for sharing another winner of a card and video. Have a great day and enjoy the sunshine.😊
I love your hints and tips and use them regularly, I now use the small zig pen for glueing my smaller die cuts to name one of them. Thank you and take care.
HELLO Christine. Très bonne idée et magnifique disposition , simple et délicate . Pour la cire transparente , il y en a aussi sur amazon ( en France par amazon , elle était excessivement cher mais peut être en uk ...) good Day for you . Bye bye and thanks
Cou cou Marie, je n'avais pas entendu parler de cire à cacheter transparente jusqu'à ce que Milou en parle, maintenant il va falloir que j'en cherche !♥️
I do have some foam sheets though I cannot recall my reason for purchasing - perhaps I just thought they would be useful to have. I will remember your idea used in this video. Love the make. x
Thank you for another great tip. Wanted to ask you -- when you print your image on the computer and then color it, does it run? I have an inkjet and not a laser printer and the ink doesn't seem to set. Do you do something special? Have a lovely day, Chris!
There are several things you can do, (I have an inkjet which I use for printing on card, my laser printer won’t take it. ) you can sprinkle in some clear embossing powder as soon as the sheet emerges from the printer and then heat set it, which will seal it. Extra fine powder is best for this. You can simple heat set the print without any powder, although this is less effective, you also could try not going over the lines! 😁

I hadn't heard of it until recently, when it popped up when I was looking to buy a little something to make up an amount to get free postage!!!🤭🤭🤭

It is a trifle snug ! 😁😁😁
I have a lot of space to work, but I always end up hemming myself in just like that. 😊

@@Chrissieannie pour toi cette après midi je vais faire le test et voir si je peux faire aussi avec la colle chaude pour comparaison 😉
Change of plan but a great success 🙂
Sometimes you just have to go with it! 🤣🤣🤣

@@Chrissieannie Thank you! I will give it a try! (Not referring to staying in the lines.) 🥴
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

❤️❤️❤️
Can you apply the card stock to the adhesive sheet and cut together?
I think that it would be too thick for a clean cut, but you could always try it for yourself!
@@Chrissieannie That makes sense. Thanks so much for all of your wonderful ideas. I learn so much from your videos.
