Thanks for highligting the advanced techinques! It really helps to show how much there is to learn and optimize and understand about a game and how much effort speedrunners put into learning about the games. :D
Right at the start of the video, just the way you say "Hellllo everyone" is really comfy for some reason. Makes for easy listening, even when I have no access to this game nor much drive (or time) to learn how to speedrun. Just chill stuff to listen to and see how a game is broken down.
Thanks! I made this video as kind of something between a Tutorial and just "let me show you some cool stuff" so you don't need to be interested in specifically running the game to enjoy it, I hope. it's neat to learn about the tricks even if you're not gonna run the game, I watch glitch tutorials for games I am never ever going to touch in my life because I just think it's interesting, so I made my own version of that.
"This is what you really came here for" joke's on you, I came here because I love your stuff and I could watch you do a sandwich tutorial and it'd be cool. Very nice video, Punchy!
i have actually made a few videos about the other silent hill games in the past on my vod channel (before it was the vod channel) but they're old, out of date and a bit fractured across tricks so yeah I'll pin this in my brain as something to maybe work on for a future vid
I was there for many streams where that damned dog ruined a perfectly good Alessa skip haha. Really awesome to see all the tricks put in one video. Hope this video gets the attention it deserves!
The shadow on the left side of your forhead makes it look like you got a pretty shiner Also, is it possible to beat the game from the dream sequence or do you need the seal to continue?
6:56 "first step into the world of silent hill nonsense" I'd call the story the first step into silent hill nonsense... Still excellent and interesting video nonetheless
Hey, I've recently played Silent Hill 3 on the PS2 again, and man... Am I tripping or is it actually possible to read the map in the dark? Unfortunately, that's a big minus for me, because this and the first one are my absolutely favorite titles in the Silent Hill series.

Even though I never was a fan of those glitched speedruns, but the video itself was fascinating, so thank you^^)
learned something new! did not know about the advanced borley skip. great work on the vid. thank you!
Great video, really cool hearing all this explained
Interesting video, thanks.
Awesome stuff! Thanks for the video explaining those advanced techniques.
I have barely played this game, but I love that kind of video.
Excellent video Punchy! Would love to see some of the other SH games glitches explained.

thank you punchy very cool!
Punchy wearing Mada sweatshirt is an ultimate human being
This actually teaches me to learn these glitches much appreciated your video and the clear speech. Thank you ^^
Absolutely LOVE this video, thank you so much!

Great video and explanation! Thank you!
thanks for the video mr punchy, love the stream
👍Good video, good commentary, good game!
Only if this was the HD collection but great video as always punchy
some of this stuff works on HD collection but I have absolutely no idea what the methods are for console
suggestion : key press overlay
i vaguely considered this but no two people use the same keybinds for this game so it felt a bit pointless
@@PunchyYT alright.
The shadow on the left side of your forhead makes it look like you got a pretty shiner
Also, is it possible to beat the game from the dream sequence or do you need the seal to continue?
you need the pendant and dream heather doesn't have it
Do you think it'd be worth learning to speedrun SH3 or any SH game before you reliably learn how to beat the game fast normally?
Very cool!
After the first day change I expected that you'll get more and more lush hair every couple of minutes of the video :D
Good vid, if you had an input view it would help you with those weird explanations I think. :)
He. Did. The. Thing.
Punchy, what *is* with all of those glit- oh
(Interesting video!)
video games are pretty neat
Hey, i have some questions... is this glitch work on aether emulator PS2?
no because you can't quick save on PS2
@@PunchyYT umm, there's a quick save in PS2 emulator 😅, well what do you think? That glitch can work if that emulator has a quick save and quick load?
no because that's savestates, not a quicksave and also there is no compelling reason to run PS2 emulation for a game that can just, run on PC
Who figures this stuff out!?
radical people
So much cheating, in just one video.
lol I kid, these techniques are nuts, thanks for showing us!
ZOOOOOOOOOOM
Yeehaw
Rewatching, good video and very informative
6:56 "first step into the world of silent hill nonsense"
I'd call the story the first step into silent hill nonsense...
Still excellent and interesting video nonetheless
Fart.
You expect me to believe this guy is a speedrunner? It took him multiple days to show off these tricks!
Yooo I need that nikki shirt
