- The music starts at 2:36...Carl Jackson, Val Storey and the band, give an incredible rendition of "Ghost of a Chance," at the Station Inn. This song was written by Carl Jackson and Jim Rushing and is truly one of "those" songs that should be on the charts, if not at THE TOP of the charts! I've posted this before, but it was a different night, different performance and the banter at the beginning of this video is just heart warming...We hope that you enjoy and that you will subscribe to the channel!

As a 66 year old,twice married and divorced but now living in a happy relationship, I can emphasize with that fabulous song. There is a ghost of a chance, if you know where to look. Brilliantly written, Carl, as always. Gerry Farry.
Carl is musical genius, He is underrated, Along with Carl's, Once best friend, And possibly still is, Ray Kirkland.

To get a C D about the Carl Jackson story , and his great talent contact Mississippi public broadcast ing Bob Hilburn Mississippi.
I first heard this song being performed by Rhonda Vincent and The Rage. I immediately fell in love with the song. I had it stuck in my head for two weeks. It is interesting to hear it done by the person who co-wrote it. I really like the guitar intro to the song. I would love to know how to play it.

Please I know you dont do request songs but perhaps one day if you could , would you and Val sing my favourite Bonnie Raitt song , LOVE HAS NO PRIDE with Crosby Stills and Nash backing her , I can just hear the band with harmonies by you and Vals voice ringing out loud and clear !
