*I'm deaf in my right ear which is why I'm not wearing headphones. I know, it's a bummer not to get the panning sounds. It's also been a bummer to only have one ear my whole life for lots of other reasons, like, playing telephone growing up, I was terrible at it. But, I'll be ok, and I'm getting both channels in the earbud, thanks for your concern :)

Regarding your comment about Deftones songs being like movies: I personally like to put my Tool hat on while listening to the last 2 Deftones albums. For me it’s all about getting lost in the soundscapes that both bands create. Oh, and maybe checkout Entombed, off the same album. Great chorus as well.

The singing style of the line, "cut to the end" in the chorus is the same style Chino uses in their early B-side 'Teething.'
When I realized it, the song took on even greater value.

I agree with your interpretation, even in the last lines of the chorus "then spit through the cycle, right to the end" I don't know I feel like the cycle is the cycle of life and spitting on it it's like disrespecting it right to the end

There's no way he plays the main groove in When Girls Telephone Boys with a single pedal
