It's not just for looks. The handle assists with stabilisation and better hand holding and the monitor is in a better position to see what you're doing. The monitor can also send its feed to a director or focus puller. All of it serves a purpose, its a professional setup 🤷♂️

that black magic monitor is so slick.. i got the ninja v but i tried the black magic before - lowkey regret it
but the blackmagic is just a monitor for the fx3, you cant record it because sony dosent want it so you have use a ninja for external recording.
