Born and raised in SD my whole life. My moronic neighbor saw one of these in front of her house and I went over to check it out. She was 100% sure it was a rattler. I said no it’s a gopher snake, it’s catching rats and stuff so just let it go. I took off and found out a few minutes later she had her husband kill it. Poor snake! I’m glad they didn’t kill Jeff!
Since they're not afraid, why do they call to have these harmless snakes removed? 😳
