Honestly, i've had this exact thought process. I bought the X100V, sold it, bought the XE4 with the 35 f2, sold it and bought a Ricoh GRIIIX. It's been over a year now and I haven't looked back. The form factor is absolutely insane, while still delivering a 26MP APS-C sensor quality. Great video!
Couldn't agree more mate, form factor is massively overlooked when people buy cameras. No point in having a camera if it sits on your shelf. Thanks for the support. Whats your insta will follow to check out your images.
You lost at saying you didn’t want the X100V because the fixed focal length followed by you saying you only used one lens on the XE4 and wanted to shoot at one focal length
All true mate, it all comes down to what you want out of a camera personally. All the things you mention make the camera expensive and led me to be afraid of taking it out and using it, which isn't exactly ideal. Hence the swap.
Just don't drop the Ricoh. Dropped mine from about 2 feet with the barrel extended. Parts went flying everywhere. Can't get it fixed locally. They say it'll have to go to Japan and the cost is probably not worth it. Takes great photos but not while its in pieces.
just randomly come across you video, fujifilm over hyped, x pro1 is the only one id use again, go look at some of the old fuji bridge camerasm, still produce stunnuing imeges an cost next to nowt, panasonic lx15 my pocket street camera, not a very common camera, 1 inch sensor f1.4 lens, got built in sims and the black and white is one of the cleanist ive seen, needs to be in a pouchthou there known for geting dust in the optics

apologies mate, meant to say fixed 35mm.
Lovely photos, both cameras! I always enjoy hearing how people come to their camera and lens choices.
Yeah they honestly are both great bits of kit.
Thank you for this video buddy. :)
Hope it helped mate
No viewfinder, no swiveling screen, no ibis, no weather sealing. No way I would change to Ricoh!

So sad to hear this mate, hope you got another one. This is partly why I don't buy new.
