One of the best episodes in the history of animation. Nothing before and nothing after has ever looked so incredible. When this first came out I thought I was having a fever dream. As corny as it is to say, this is Art.

Bro the day this released was truly one of the best days for Anime's fans. Especially since this Demon Slayer Episode (Never Give Up 2x17) came out the same day as Attack On Titan's (From You, 2000 Years Ago 4x21) You'd think Twitter was an Anime website that day due to it just being flooded with Demon Slayer and Attack On Titan content😂
Finally somebody getting it. Nearly all reactors so far said the body exploded😆, nope, as John perfectly noticed, Gyotaro unleashed that circular blood blades as a last resort just when he was beheaded, but just didn't get the chance to do it in time and the reaction was delayed.👌 PS: Ofc you're lucky you can watch them back to back, we had to wait a week for these episodes!😵💫
It’s said at some point in the show, I don’t remember if season 1 or 2, that inosuke has very high level awareness, so while the whole “shifting of his organs” seems far fetched, he could’ve sensed it coming at the last moment and taken some sort of slight evasive maneuver
Ah finally I get to see you guys react to this episode. Definitely one of the best episodes in all aspects. The animation, the voice acting, the sound design, all of it! Seeing it again even in cinemas (during the release of S3 E1) was just...yeah, brought a tear in my eye too. Ufotable always bringing cinematic quality.
Inosuke’s ability to shift his organs is no nonsense. Don’t take it as merely anime stuff. He’s gifted with the great sense of touch, that’s why his situational awareness, perceptions and intuitions are very proactive, active and being a passive skill that works all around the clock as well. Just called it animal or survival instinct, that’s what he has that others don’t. He doesn’t really need to look at a target 🎯 in order to act or react (as well as to attack or to defend). When Gyutaro stabbed him from behind, he already knew that was coming, it’s just that the incoming attack was too fast, that he didn’t have enough time to react or evade it completely or physically. The least he could have done was to slightly move/adjust/maneuver his internal vital organ a bit to evade/avoid death instantly. That also helped to prove his so called “flexibility” as being living alone in the mountain all by himself and survived for so long 😊
This arc was quite literally an emotional rollercoaster. You think they've beaten Daki, Gyutaro comes out. They've almost got Gyutaro, he outmaneuvers them. The gang gets taken out, but they come back better than ever. Not only are the stakes high, the emotions are wild and the animation is even wilder. As much as I loved Akaza and Rengoku, it was very clear that fight was super one sided. Akaza only started to really try at the end when he needed to get away from the sun. But this fight felt so much more impactful because things were pretty evenly matched for the most part. Side note: I love Gyutaro just patting Tanjiro's head and telling him to protect Nezuko. Obviously the moment is broken by the finger breaking, but you can definitely see that Gyutaro understands the sentiment of wanting to protect your sister.
I mean, earlier in the season we seen him demonstrate that he's able to dislocate every bone in his body allowing him to maneuver his way through a tunnel. If you're able to accept that, it isn't too farfetched to believe that he can shift the positions of his internal organs.
The manga has been finish already and this show is almost over there's currently 3 seasons of demon slayer and the 4th season will be the last season unfortunately it's a really short anime 😔
The cool thing about Inosuke not being stabbed in the heart because he shift his internal organs isn't even exactly an asspull (well, at least not entirely), as his extreme flexibility was hinted before where he moved all his joints to fit through a very small hole that no "normal" human could. It's not like those powerups that happen out of the blue
All of them are so amazing, gyutaro and daki may be the upper rank 6 but they're truly strong. Tengen, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke are all injured, all of them except Zenitsu is poisoned, but still they did it. Tengen is an absolute chad, man lost one of his hand and still fighting like a boss without activating his (you know). Tanjiro creating one in a million chance (How his mark activated will soonly revealed), despite of his shoulder injury, he still can move and hold on. Zenitsu’s godlike speed is so unexpecting but it got me so hyped, I never thought he can do that😭 he's a little thor hahahaha. Of course, Inosuke, I mean, this guy is so unbelievable. Bow down to the king of the mountains. Upper six siblings are so powerful too, no cap. OF COURSE, TO UFOTABLE. They did so amazing animating DM especially this episode. It's absolutely amazing and definitely my favorite battle animation.
Definitely one of my favorite episodes of Demon Slayer. Probably one of my favorite episodes of any anime lol The animation is just amazing, both the sound design and the soundtrack are excellent. Gyutaro is such a good antagonist, love to see him finally get taken down even with his last ditch effort in the end there lol Truly was a flashy as hell fight.
@@deeegeeekay Yea, it's annoying because we'll have to wait long in between each of them, but also the pro/benefit is peak movie level animation for all the fights.
@@monkeyeknom527 it’s a short manga so i’m okay with them wanting to stretch the time out to make the show feel longer. if they rush through the story they might be easily forgotten when it’s over. plus, these animators need time to see their kids lol
@@deeegeeekay Yea but it also ruins a lot of the hype, you know having to wait years in between fights that are happening in the same arc. It just ruins the pacing kinda, like learning information or seeing a fight conclude then having to wait a year or 2 just to find out. I'm happy it will have great animation, but the pacing and hype definitely would be better if it was weekly.
@@monkeyeknom527 I understand that, I just think they don’t want to have the feeling of underwhelmedness with the Uppers, especially in the Infinity Castle arc. It’s gonna be important each one gets their shine and the animation is up to S2 standard. They had that issue with Gyokko in S3, imo. Hopefully it’s not years in between though, i’d rather wait a couple years and they release them each months apart.
