So, I’m graduating from a 125 to yz250 after my first few seasons riding. I used your channel to get my 125 ‘up to speed’ - and now perfect timing for this new series of videos! Thanks dude.
Nice purchase looks good to me i changed plastic pegs new shifter new kick levers new filter new clutch plates new piston new sprokets chain new apex head an lectron new clutch lever new throttle cable new clutch cable new back brake lever new front levers i love my old yz125 2003 u deserve ur new bike thanks for ur videos it helps me to learn
Man, nothing like a YZ250. I really think they are the best overall bike ever made. They are just so versatile...Ive ridden mine in everything from desert sand dunes, woods/trails and MX tracks. It just works everywhere. Can't say the same for my '21 YZ450...that thing is horrible in tight woods, lol.
I really hope you will be able to buy a brand new dirt bike because, the help and all the info you give us,your subscribers, are gold!! Wish you all the best!
You deserved this bike. I'm glad it worked out for you. Like you said $4500 vs 10k gives you a lot upgrades you want. The bike will be set up just how you like it and when your done it will look like a 24 but be perfect for you. Got to love Beavis throwing that chest out as far as he can. Looking forward to this series of videos. 🏜👍
Thanks! Thats very true. Gonna start ordering parts for her this morning. Get her cleaned up and all, she still needs a bath lol. Hope you have a great weekend!
Congrats on the new purchase man! you gave me the motivation to make yt vids and hope i can be just as successful like you! keep it up! Fun fact !! i let your videos play hours on end when im here at work, hope it helps with the monetization :)
Excited to see this series! Your channel has been a godsend for me. I just picked up a 2012 yz250 2 months ago and I’ve been slowly learning and trying to fix things as I go to make it mint again.
Every penny you've got you've earned with your great content. I'd like to see you get a sponsorship from Stuck Nutz thread locker and Rocky Mountain ATV. Good luck!!!
If there was one thing I could go back and do on these bikes if you ride any offroad, is to have the swingarm chainguide welds re inforced. I've broken them off on my 17 and 23 just from rocks flying off the front tire.
Thanks. I have a video where that happened on a YZ125 and I had to clean out all the broken piston. I cover it in that video. Here is a link to it... ua-cam.com/video/LbOe7FR2fws/v-deo.html
Currently been using the stock needles in the stock position. I may play around with some other needles again on this new build once I get her up and going though. But the stock needle in stock position has been good on my 18
LoL. This kinda changes as years go by but out of the current bikes of the last 8 years... Yamaha top for sure. Kawasaki, & honda in second. Strange to put kawasaki beside Honda but the newer kawis are pretty well built and reliable.
@@mark_Hershey KTM does, kinda right behind Honda and kawasaki. Hard to know where to put suzuki though. I find them pretty reliable but not enough of them going around to trend it in the list lol.
Always learn something from your videos. This will be excellent
Thanks!
Awesome man!! Stoked to see how it turns out!!! Luv the content 🤙🏼
Thanks!

I feel ya there. I sold my YZ450 because between the YZ125 and the YZ250 I just wasnt riding the YZ450 anymore.

Sweet yz man!
Thanks man!
Not a bad bike at all. It'll be a good one
Thank you! I think your right, excited about it!
@@UpAllNight91 you've earned it for sure, great informative stuff
@@zachfarkash6430 Thanks!
Enjoy your vids min. I’m trying to find a used yz250 to go alongside my ‘05 yz125. Can’t find one under $4500 in north Alabama. Maybe one day.
Thanks! Yeah the prices of used YZ250's have gone up through the roof recently. Funny thing is 8 years ago people where just giving them away lol
If there was one thing I could go back and do on these bikes if you ride any offroad, is to have the swingarm chainguide welds re inforced. I've broken them off on my 17 and 23 just from rocks flying off the front tire.
Holy cow! You broke them for real!
We went thru the same pain. Looked at a new YZ250f pushing $11,000. Found a 2023 with 19 hours in almost new condition bone stock for $7300
I got a 23 yz250fx with 0.01 hours on it for 7600$ last year.
Right, 11,000 is crazy theses days. I miss the old days of affordable bikes lol. But sounds like you found a good one at 19 hours for sure.
$7600 with only 0.01 hours is a heck of a deal! Thats brand new!
@@MrFPSWisconsin I don’t see how people can take a $3000 - $4000 hit on new dirt bike unless you are keeping it for several years
Love the vids💪🏾. Quick question
I got a yz125 and my piston broke how do I get out the little pieces from the bottom end without splitting the case?
Thanks. I have a video where that happened on a YZ125 and I had to clean out all the broken piston. I cover it in that video. Here is a link to it... ua-cam.com/video/LbOe7FR2fws/v-deo.html
This bike looks like it was from a 12 o clock boy
Right!
Those go for $6400 brand new out the door in my country.
Oh man thats a great price!
@@UpAllNight91 A year or two ago they were on special going for $5100 otd...
@@rztrzt Thats a deal!
What needle do you prefer on your yz250

Let me put you on the spot, out of all the brands, which one to you is the most trouble free or reliable on the track?
LoL. This kinda changes as years go by but out of the current bikes of the last 8 years... Yamaha top for sure. Kawasaki, & honda in second. Strange to put kawasaki beside Honda but the newer kawis are pretty well built and reliable.

I had to kill my rooster. He attacked my pregnant wife and 3 toddlers too many times. Bummer day.
Oh man bummer. They can be mean for sure
