Never knew Hedo had so much swag but when I think about the NBA era he came up in it makes complete sense. 😂
Complete sense
Word 🤣
c'mon now early 00's and no dress code yet
Back in the day when there were Iverson posters everywhere
Man if you remember watching him play he always handled the rock with some strange swag
As a Turkish American living in USA used to watch all Hedo’s games back in days. We were always PROUD just like we are now with Alpi SENGUN
Evet aynen bende, same here , copy paste
growing up my brother and I loved Hedo and those Magic teams. my brother has a Orlando Hedo jersey that he passed down to me and I don't wear it too much bc it is special to me
super clutch player, people forget how many f@* game winners that dude hit
"WHO DID" "HE-DO"
@@jacobbucio5039 yeah he was a special player and many highlights at the clutch for sure even against lebron james in last second I ll never forget that
Yes, but Hedo is not Turkish American, he is Turkish born.
Turks are some of the most beautiful people in the world
Hedo, Dwight, R Lewis, Nelson and MP. That 09 magic lineup was fun to watch.
As a Cavs fan, no it wasn't lol. They shot the best all year that series then did any other time. Uggh.
😮💨‼️
Don't forget about JJ Reddick!
I hated them dudes. Snatched my heart out
I used kill everybody on 2k with Orlando
I’ve always been super impressed by people who can be funny in their second language lol. That’s so difficult lol
💯 this is such an insightful comment. I was thinking the same thing, so impressive and so easy to take for granted
@L4-295 accurate. Salute
Yo 100s
true, i mean shit i have a hard enough time being funny in my first
ok but hes in a locker room full of rich funny black guys over an entire professional career though
Hedo at the Point Forward was a monster for Orlando
FAX. 6'10 with handle. Luca has some of his similarities.
@@JamesKlass79 oh yeah, had range, size, and he was so clutch.
Yes indeed
MONSTER!!!!!
Hedo the man
I can still hear it…”Hedooooooooo TURKKKKKK-OGLUUUUUUUU!!!!” Dude was cold as ice, 6’10 Point-Forward, hit threes, made plays, handled the rock, excellent passer. In his prime with Orlando this guy was a monster
Cold blooded shooter he was! Mr. 4th quarter!!
I still hear it man. Those cheap bastards didn’t wanna pay him then they traded back for him when he was a bum
And drove SVG crazy on a nightly basis. Was perfect.
He was very good with the Sacramento Kings. He also played very well after Peja sprained his ankle in the second round of the 2002 NBA playoffs
Turk called DMiles The Fresh Prince 😭👑
You can tell Q loves this guy
No really?
He is one of the best guests yet. No filter, good storyteller, and told it like it was without throwing anyone under the bus.
definitely..
"bum ass Keith Bogans" had me dead 🤣
Turk is a prime example of a basketball OG for millennials.
This episode was funny as hell 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.. we appreciate you Turk
The Ginobli TO story, bumass Bogans comment, Carlos Arroyo vs Stan story, all made me lmao

Turk funny as hell! “I swear to God” “you know like” 😂🤣🤣🤣

Hedo Turkoglu was such an underrated player. Huge part of that 2009 Orlando team that got to the finals. He would be a beast in todays game. Keep up the great work guys! One of the Best b-ball shows out there. 👌🏽🏀

Yup….he was the finisher on that Finals team.

Hedo at his peak was a PROBLEM!
Courtney lee ruined his chance to have a chip 😂

I'm from Europe and when I saw him on tv I thought he was the turkish Scottie Pippen. Tall, skinny, athletic, dynamic.. He and Kirilenko were the ones who impressed me the most when I saw them on tv in the late 90's. You could immediately see they were going to the Nba.
If your a true hooper this is the podcast to listen too keep doing y’all thing knuckleheads 💪🏽💯
Agreed

Shit we listen to all the podcasts except for draymonds 😅
bruh imagine if Hedo played today, he'd be feastin.
The players like Turkoglu were very important for the arrival of the European players, it was a pleasure to see that the European players could be good in the NBA

It is always more interesting and more personal when Quentin and/or Darius are interviewing one of their former teammates.
The whole 2 years Quentin was in Orlando (2010 - 2012), Hedo was right there hooping beside him. So I know Q is happy to interview one of his dawgs ✊🏼.
I swear!!! Tbh I enjoy their interviews with the people they either played in the nba with, or players around their same age that they knew from high school days
Thought this to myself. I love how the ego doesn’t get in the way and neither minds if the other knows a guest more
I agree
Much respect to Hedo for making the jump. Back in those days players were scared to come over and giving up $12 mil at 18 on top? That’s real dawg mentality
Turk was an NBA2k cheat code. More importantly, one of my favorite players ever.
MUCH RESPECT BROS . This another Gem.
Greetings from Croatia AND I HOPE Turkey will recover fast from the earthquakes
Much love brother. Thanx for the good wishes
Prince of Bel Air!! haha I spit out my drink when Turk hit em with that
Being a Lakers fan Turk used to have me nervous during that NBA finals series 😂😂
As salaamu alaikum my brother
The best basketball podcast out there. As a former college player and as a dad raising a young hooper....I want to say thank you for insight into players journey.

It is. Wish we would get weekly episodes consistently. At least during the season… I be needing my fix
How? They don't even have timestamps. That's like podcast 101

@@ryankayombya7576 Luka is still overrated
Good to see Hedo getting some love and light. He's definitely Top 10 or 15 European players All-Time NBA.
Yooo Hedo was a beast especially in Orlando! Dropping dimes and shooting 3’s at 6’10, he would be killin’ it in today’s league! 🏀
He was great in Sacramento too
However Glu don't like like to run lol 🤣🤣🤣 according to him self lol
Hedo had a legit handle
Hedo Turkoglu was a very solid player back then. I wish these ball podcasts start bringing this type of guys more often so their legacy can be celebrated and young people can get to know them. Also lots of stories from an insider perspective. Much better than having the same 20 guys rotating between every podcast doing the same interviews over and over again at this point.
Hedo funny as hell...
Bruh, I was laughing the whole interview..
Gotta have DIRK as a guest! Want to know more about that 2011 playoffs run
😳😳😳😳😳🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
THIS IS THE MOST IVE LAUGHED WATCHING ANY TYPE OF PODCAST !! 😂😂😂😂 BRING HEDO BACK FOR ANOTHER ONE PLEASEEEEE 😂
By far the funniest interview they had! Hedo kept it ALL the way 💯 I didn't know he was so funny 🤣🤣🤣
I think it's actually the opposite. The accents makes everything you say even more funny
That 09 Orlando team was at least a decade ahead of its time. That played 4 out with Dwight in the middle. Had 2 twoway ballhandling wings that could do it all on and off ball (Hedo, Pietrus). Small ball 4 that can stretch the floor and defend (Rashard). He shot the shit out of the 3 and helped them play spread pick and roll around Dwight.
Hedo as well had a short peak but man, he could handle, clutch, pass, playmake, shoot, score. I know he criticizes his own defense but he was underrated. In todays league environment with spacing and lack of defensive rules he could easily be a 23-25/5/5 type of wing. Good depth with JJ, Lee, Rafer... Its a shame Jameer got injured. He was an all star that season.
Orlando beating Cleveland was one of the biggest upsets of the decade. Orlando were +550 underdogs without homecourt advantage. All the Kobe VS Lebron promos. No one outside of Orlando thought they were winning that series especially without Jameer.
Great insight thank you
Finally got my boy Turk on here lol funny as hell. He was a huge piece in that King's game and Orlando finales game. Salute Knuckleheads.
My boi be killing me with that "you know like" shit
Hedo is awesome I did not expect him to be this energetic & funny 😂
When you think about, Luka is like the super hero version of Hedo, and he was a really, really good player.
Marhaba to all the turkish ball fans. One of the greatest sports fans anywhere around the world - no question. I've been there when my team played Galatasaray. Maximum respect.
hi bruh
😂 yo this episode is LEGENDARY! Turkoglu is easily a top 5 guest on this platform
Another one off the list! I’d like to see Juan dixon, Michael Redd, Peja, Monta Ellis, Keith Van Horn, Danny Granger, Bobby Jackson, Devin George and B Roy here.
Monta Ellis Definitely one of the most underate has better numbers than some HOFs pure scorer
You know ball 💯
I wanna see BIG NASTY (Corliss Williamson) ..super underrated..& Khaled El Amin
@@BadTV1993 you mean Corliss the scoreless?
Van horn would be awesome
Hedo a true funny guy. The Orlando squad he was in was crazy good. Imagine if Hedo played in todays game, dude would be killing it.
Young heads don't know about Hedu. Great guest as he was amongst the first "wave" of Euro players in the league and have notable team success.
Nah the first wave was late 80s/Early 90s Detlef Shremph, Sarunas Marcilonis, Rick Smits, Sabonis in Portland, Drazen Petrovic, Vlad Divac in LA, Muresan in Washington……..
I do
He was more part of the second wave. Hence he spoke about how Vlade and Peja took him under their wings and made sure his transition wasn’t too difficult. Even Peja was only a few years ahead of him. That second wave was crazy stacked.
@@Khaab00wrong fella!! The 2nd wave was 93: Kukoc, Shawn Bradley, Gheorghe Muresan, Etienne Preira. Undrafted was: Kornél Dávid, and Antoine Rigaudeau. The 4th only had 2 and they're irrelevant. The 5th only had John Amaechi who's the only one of relevance. The 6th was the beginning of the Beast with: Peja Stojakovic, Ilgauskas, and after that it was Pau Gasol, Dirk, medvedenko, Stepania in 98.
Hedo Big NBA Star ⭐️ Mad Love ❤️ ♥️🧡😳🙏

Hedo is hilarious 😂 hell of a player and teammate.
When Paul Pierce calls you one of the toughest match-ups he ever had, you know you were a pretty damn good player.
This interview was legendary, Hedo was such a cold player, but he's often forgotten. Props to you guys for this one!
Hedo has great recall.. One of the Best interviews the Nuckel Heads had 💯
One of the most underrated players ever
Peja, Hedo, Bibby, Cwebb, Divac. That was a great team to watch.
Love that he mentioned Monster Mash. One of the most slept-on players of all time. Had a unique game that is a lost art today
Q's laugh is so contagious. Never heard him crack up so much. 🤣
Bum ass Keith Bogans is crazy🤣🤣. Loved this episode as a magic fan🔥
Man I never knew I needed to love Hedo! Dude is hilarious. Always been a baller
Hedo would be elite in this era... 6'10 point forward that could shoot, pass and handle the ball. Pretty much Luka today....
The NBA used to be so biased against international/euro players back in the day. They didnt like players who could shoot, pass and score efficiently. But if you could jump, dribble the air out of the ball, never pass then take contested long range twos you were the guy.
I love Kobe and AI but watching those guys play sometimes was painful.
Knuckleheads always coming through with that 🔥
It’s very endearing seeing how much Q loves Hedo.
This interview was SICK! Even bigger Hedo fan now
"Thank God I was married at the time" 😂😂

Salute to Hedo Turkoglu He was a very solid Play Maker & Shooter from the forward position He had a nice Game.. It's cool to know that He choose to Pattern his game after Toni Kukuc & Scottie Pippen. Great to Hear that C. Webb hooked his car up for him that was love. Hedo is funny as fuc also and Honest with his perspective plus the stories. This was another dope episode
I'm Turkish myself I saw his game live back when 76's played the magic he came to phili he was a great player. He will help more turkish players come to the NBA.
JWill - Manu - Hedo - Webber - Tim Duncan, 5 amazing passers in 1 team. That team would cook today.
One of the funniest interviews on here thus far. Who would've thought Turk was this cool 👍🏻
That 2009 squad was my favorite team that destroyed the Cavs back then
Hedo Lewis Alston Dwight Pietrus Nelson
This was my favorite episode so far
Orlando was even way better in 2010 with adding Vince Carter, Ryan Anderson, a better jj redick, better Gortat & Matt Barnes, it’s a mystery how they didn’t make it back to face Kobe
They got my Sixers too
And bum ass Keith Bogans
Hedo is a cool guy man. Laid back, good sense of humor, and went through some battles in the NBA.
Hedo a goat man. The way evolved over his career man not alot players have that. I appreciate what he brought to the game
