It's such a shame Richard doesn't get much recognition, he's unbelievably talented
A remarkable songwriter in this era in British Music.
Richard Dawson is definitely someone we are lucky to have around :)
This song always gets me in the same mindset as Weaver, those backing vocals at the end always get me going. There's something so powerful and beautiful about how it is done on here and on Peasant. What fantastic albums.
2020 somehow ended up WORSE than this album predicted
So brilliant. I love this album SO MUCH.
My cat's new favorite video to watch. The red string always keeps her excited
Mine was attracted by the title ("Dead Dog..."), but stayed for the string.
This is the best music video that has ever been made in the history of music videos. Ever.
How does this have only 15k views?
I find it so peculiar it's been one of those pieces that highlight a period of your life to which you can relate afterwards every time you listen to the song.
Accessing Dawson's world really is a powerful experience.
Pure genius.
The seamless lyrical transitions, as the singer sees the titular animal, and then exposes how he's seen as the titular animal, and then possibly ends up just like the titular animal. And juxtaposed with such a hopeful melody, this is the perfect ending to a masterful anthropological album
Astounding, at this point it's hard to even bother trying to pin Dawson down to a specific genre. It's new music and he creates it masterfully. Inspiring, abrasive, dark, harrowing, beautiful
Clicking on random stuff can be so rewarding, Weirdly quirky, slightly off like the dead fox, just found a shiny gem.
A melody so joyous it wouldn't be out of place on an Abba record... allied with such bleak words (and now video). A real highlight for me from the album
Richard Dawson´s music is just such a heartwarming epiphany!
Just discovered Richard Dawson today by Apple Music suggesting this song and damn!! Epic but in such a different way! Been listening to whole album on repeat since this morning! Brilliant!!!!
join me in taking another listen after a few months!
I was singing along to Black Triangle and Fulfilment Centre in the van today! Still gets me in the feels every time..
There are so many brilliant songs on ‚2020‘, but this one is just perfect. Richard, come to Hamburg - there are dozens of great venues.
Total agreement, especially on that Hamburg quote!
Can’t stop listening to this album, great track this
Richard Dawson is a modern treasure.
What an excellent video. Well done. Loving the 2020 sound, thanks for you guys' excellent work. Hope to see you in northern Europe some time in the near future
We've been spoilt with music videos for this album!
Possibly my favorite track on this album, and that's saying a fuckin lot. The little bass riff at 2:32, the buildup after the entire album at 3:24... just fantastic.
That's the coolest videoclip I've seen in a long time. I can't imagine how much time has been put here...
Song of 2019. Devastating
What a triumphant tune, well done Richard 👍
This song is Genius also. Thank you for expressing yourself honestly.
3:11 took me to wikipedia!
glad to see this one get a single/video treatment! quirky, thrilling, utterly sad for some reason yet so melodic, i love the guitars at about 4:00
First lyrics dead dog... Gonna have to get myself together this morning before I give the lyrics a go.
For the first time I read the lyrics. Always thought he said "pooping and projectile vomiting" I'm gonna continue to sing along that way....
What an album
Modern masterpiece
Brilliant video!
I reached wikipedia through the QR. lol
The QR code at 3:12 took me here: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page

What a wonderful video!

Very clever video. Mixing the antiquated with the modern. Victoriana next to QR code. Genius. Song's not bad either! Stunning album
poor thing 💙
um... wow
richard
OK, so this might sound childish or what have you, but foxes are my favorite animal and seeing one that's presumably dead at 4:50 was not something I was really prepared for... I liked the song though.
The QR code links wikipedia. First!
Luciano Urrejola just to the home Wikipedia page? Or Dawson’s wiki page?
@@elsiemabel just wikipedia, the frontpage
Noice
What happen after they beat you up in your sleeping bag. I hope their brain hurts right now.
Those red subs are no good for daltonians...
Jesse Pinkman it's Tha you?
