I agree whole heartedly!! The tingles are better when it's more organic. In real life people make mistakes they aren't edited or filtered. I think that's part of it. I'm not sure why white noise helps but it does for me too!!

I love these older videos where she talks at a normal speed just softer. That plus the white noise is perfection. The newer videos with the unnaturally slow talking doesn’t do it for me. Soooo happy she left her old videos up!!!

I used to get tingles as a young child while watching others do things, especially drawing, painting, drawing in the dirt etc. I also love for someone to draw lightly on my back but I'm not sure those tingles are asmr. I can relate to your comment.

Me too. I had a guidance counselor in school that gave me tingles all the time.i got them around kind people who cared for me. I'm still not sure what triggers me, is it the words or the actions. Definitely don't get tingles from those mouth smacking, aggressive tapping and clicking asmr wannabes. Maria seems to trigger me 100%.

Yeah... I believe she is more concerned with silence and sound quality instead of natural sound quality. I get lots more ASMR in some of her older medium to soft spoken videos with haircuts and random tasks.
I love seeing how far Maria has come over the past 8 years as an ASMRtist, and how her joy and beauty has continued to grow. She's been my go-to soother for the past couple of years, and it's a delight to see how sweetly life has opened up for her.

Just last month of October, I had a random panic attack/ anxiety and then I have these worries of short breathes, thinking too much about my breathing, and breathing too big like if I was running out of breath, and then I remembered about the asmr vids and this is absolutely relaxing and kept my mind off my stress, this is really helpful. :D

I never heard of ASMR until today and then I saw an article about your videos, and immediately knew that ASMR is exactly what I have striven to experience in different ways for so many years without knowing why. Years and years of depression and anxiety and the only relief was the somewhat occasional experience of ASMR. I literally cried three separate times while experiencing this because of how absolutely relaxing it was and how peaceful I felt and just knowing there was actually something that could help me sleep, actually having a legitimate thing without just working on years of guesswork. I still can't believe that this was made 5 years ago... I remember watching this in spring of my sophomore year back in 2013... four years since then have passed by and Maria still stands as my most favorite ASMR artist ever. Her ASMR videos (this one to be exact) are what helped me relax and find comfort during some of the nerve wrecking times I had in sophomore year.

How have I missed this gem??? Maria’s 2012 videos are amoung my favorites.
Just last month of October, I had a random panic attack/ anxiety and then I have these worries of short breathes, thinking too much about my breathing, and breathing too big like if I was running out of breath, and then I remembered about the asmr vids and this is absolutely relaxing and kept my mind off my stress, this is really helpful. :D

Thank you so much for doing what you do. I never heard of ASMR until today and then I saw an article about your videos, and immediately knew that ASMR is exactly what I have striven to experience in different ways for so many years without knowing why. Years and years of depression and anxiety and the only relief was the somewhat occasional experience of ASMR. I literally cried three separate times while experiencing this because of how absolutely relaxing it was and how peaceful I felt and just knowing there was actually something that could help me sleep, actually having a legitimate thing without just working on years of guesswork.

I still can't believe that this was made 5 years ago... I remember watching this in spring of my sophomore year back in 2013... four years since then have passed by and Maria still stands as my most favorite ASMR artist ever. Her ASMR videos (this one to be exact) are what helped me relax and find comfort during some of the nerve wrecking times I had in sophomore year.
One of my go-to's ❤ especially the beginning where her voice is so light and sweet and her accent was thicker❤❤

Almost 4 and a half years ago I found this video while watching various 3D sounds on the Internet and have been inlove with ASMR ever since it reduces my stress, aids my anxiety levels, and helps with my depression.
